the real joke about this battle is that I started the advance farther back than I normally would and thought they'd get to the VH's well b4 me and I'd get the additional points loss of I think it was 25 per turn to fight to recover them.

It was very interesting. It shows how to actually win a battle as opposed to being routed and flat out lying and claiming a victory.

I suppose its best to leave these 2 miserables to their cynical bragging about beating an understrength AI by overwhelming it with artillery and tanks.

Rant on then madmen. No one is going to see it anymore.

Ya know I just posted this in 25 minutes, and It amazes me how u couldn't have done any of the purchase point math on any of this in that time and yet u say overwhelmed them with arrty and tanks. WHere is this MY fault that even with AI advantage on the germans didn't take into account that I had the better topographicly side of the map to advance from with visablity and cover, and did'nt also count on the fact that with having the same core from so far back that ALL of my units where experienced enough to make the die rolls for better accuracy and mobility from cover to make the hard shots count. TBT I gave u a chance but u aren't looking worth it

RiunT fought against 5 companies of infantry. I don't know about you, but even in the long campaign I rarely have more than 3. but then, I don't use the editor either. I'll add up the numbers, since you not only lack a basic understanding of 3rd grade math, history, military tactics and computer skills; but you illiterate as well.

Germans had 5 companies of infantry. Each company consisted of 3 platoons, 1 X0 squad, a 2 81mm mortars, and a trio of Panzershrek teams. This was backed by 2 of 37mm ATGs, and 8 88mm AA guns, a dozen (12) JagdTigers (tank destroyers) and three batteries of offboard artillery. Total artillery was 10 81MM Mortars and Three offboard Howitzer Batteries. Those offboard Batteries hit a large area, some 5 hexes in diameter.

Congradulations, you have no idea how to even read a simple list of forces. Nor can you tell the difference between a "CA" and "GE".

Riun, I deploy my troops based on terrain and mission. I don't usually have that large of an armored force; I have 1 company, with a couple platoons of TDs to back three companies of Infantry. I use support points for Engineers or Arty as needed.

I have never "overwhelmed" any force with an abundance of either tanks or artillery. In fact, TBT, you yourself have put forth the viewpoint that a tank is nothing more than fodder for the Infantry and calvary to destroy. So according to you it would be impossible to defeat anyone with an over abundance of armor. My victories are based on a strong infantry force supported by a strong armored force, and backed further by artillery. The only things I don't use in my battles are mines, naval batteries, and aircraft. That's because the AI couldn't begin to defeat a true combined arms force. It's only tactic is the same pathetic mass rushes of Haig's idiocy.

Hey AZ, I'm wanting to know what kinds of static formations u're deploying for each type of mission EG. if I'm doing an advance or meeting engagement, I'll set the infantryin a CLUB or cloverleaf spread with the mortars and HMG's in the armpit of the leaves so to speak and a towed AT gun in the centre of each I'll show ya a couple of what I mean. AND we WILL get u useing the OU right I'll PM u BACK RT
