ORIGINAL: TokyoBoyTensai I suppose its best to leave these 2 miserables to their cynical bragging about beating an understrength AI by overwhelming it with artillery and tanks. Rant on then madmen. No one is going to see it anymore. RiunT fought against 5 companies of infantry. I don't know about you, but even in the long campaign I rarely have more than 3. but then, I don't use the editor either. I'll add up the numbers, since you not only lack a basic understanding of 3rd grade math, history, military tactics and computer skills; but you illiterate as well. Germans had 5 companies of infantry. Each company consisted of 3 platoons, 1 X0 squad, a 2 81mm mortars, and a trio of Panzershrek teams. This was backed by 2 of 37mm ATGs, and 8 88mm AA guns, a dozen (12) JagdTigers (tank destroyers) and three batteries of offboard artillery. Total artillery was 10 81MM Mortars and Three offboard Howitzer Batteries. Those offboard Batteries hit a large area, some 5 hexes in diameter. Congradulations, you have no idea how to even read a simple list of forces. Nor can you tell the difference between a "CA" and "GE". Riun, I deploy my troops based on terrain and mission. I don't usually have that large of an armored force; I have 1 company, with a couple platoons of TDs to back three companies of Infantry. I use support points for Engineers or Arty as needed. I have never "overwhelmed" any force with an abundance of either tanks or artillery. In fact, TBT, you yourself have put forth the viewpoint that a tank is nothing more than fodder for the Infantry and calvary to destroy. So according to you it would be impossible to defeat anyone with an over abundance of armor. My victories are based on a strong infantry force supported by a strong armored force, and backed further by artillery. The only things I don't use in my battles are mines, naval batteries, and aircraft. That's because the AI couldn't begin to defeat a true combined arms force. It's only tactic is the same pathetic mass rushes of Haig's idiocy.
