I've found myself spending more time reading these forums than actually playing the game.

I haven't actually fired up the game itself in a couple months at least. However, I frequent the forums almost daily to have a quick look at what's going on.

Is anyone else in the same boat? Just curious.

Yeah... Not so much a patch issue, though, as the fact that my last 5 WitP PBEM opponents went up in smoke. Oddly enough, they all disappeared around the time I started winning...

work lets me get some time in on the forum, but also, I could post here for a couple of hours and its still not as much time commitment as playing WitP. I wonder if I could convince work that I need a one year sabatical to study the complex organizational structure of WWII pacific operations, I know the perfect tool for that.

So, I am not alone.

I think I'm waiting on the patch and my interest to pick up a bit. I'm more into a few other computer games that don't require as much thought and attention to detail as WITP. I think the scope of the game is just a bit over the top, and it takes a bit of effort for me to really get into it at times.

Cheers,

I used to read a lot more, but now I have a few games going (one of which will get Alichi back into the swing... ) and don't have the time to read and post as much. Its tough just to get my AAR posts up.

I get 3 days in on WITP daily when possible, 1 turn on a scenario of SPWAW, (currently "503rd at Corregidor" by Dragoon45), and read the forums to get game tips and historical comments from the great bunch of guys here.
I also try to say a few words to my wife as she knows where I sleep and where the bayonets are kept..............
