There is a SP scenario that is taken from one of the old Avalon Hill Squad Leader scenarios. Does anybody know which one that is? I believe the scenario is US assaulting Germans in a village.

Thanks.

Hi Dracko.

Actually there are a bunch of scenarios out there based on squad leader, but most of them focus on the Eastern Front. I did a search on the text files in the scenarios subdirectory and only came up with one that meets the US/German criteria you mentioned. It is scenario #106, "A Belated Christmas," by Wild Bill Wilder, and is based on Squad Leader scenario 33. I did find one other in the scenarios that I have downloaded, "Under the Noel Trees" by Don Lazov, which is numbered 352. It is also a Bastogne scenario and based on ASL scenario #23. If you'd like me to email that one to you, let me know.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info Tyrone. I did a search of the SCEN folder and found several Squad Leader based scenrios. I must have been mistaken about the US assaulting the Germans.

My email is mcdracko@msn.com if you could snd me that scenario.

Got your two files Tyrone.... Thanks. Have tried Pickens scenario a few times. Have been able to get a draw so far. Tough little scenario.

I hope you enjoy them. I haven't played either scenario although the ETO is my favorite. M4Jess, who created both the scenarios I sent you, is one of the best.

I also own General's Edition, but haven't sat down to play any of the MC's only because there is so much else going on with this game. I'm working on several projects on the side, but the bulk of my SPWAW game playing is being taken up by Das Reich right now--a user-generated campaign created by the folks over at the Depot and the team was headed up by M4Jess.

Lemme know if you have any other questions or requests.
