Hi guys.

It's been years since I last posted to the Martix forums, must be at least 5. It's nice to see Marix is still going and going from strength to strength.

Anyway. To the point of this mail. I was in the loft the other day and came across my copy of SP. The Lost Victories Mega Campaign edition. I decided to put it on my PC, and even after all those years it hook me straight in again.

OK, the graphics are showing their age, but it's still a hell of a game. Over the last few years I've played a lot of Combat Mission. But for all it's nice graphics and slick interface it still doesn't have that something special that SP has.

It's nice to see teh old warhorse is still ticking over, and will certainly be on my current PC for a long time.

Just one quick question though. I'm currently working on the 7.1 patch/version, so I was wondering. Is there a newer patch, and where should I look to get a copy now.

Thanks in advance, now it's time to get back to the war.

You cannot update from 7.1 to 8.x IIRC

If the game is working well for you I would "leave it alone". The Mega was designed to work with that version.

Then I would download the free 8.2 and update it with 8.3, 8.4, and 8.403 as a separate install to play the other scenarios.

For 8.403 please goto http://www.matrixgames.com/members and login.

You can download the beta version there.
