RHS v7.68 PWHEX set and related map changes sent to Send Space and avail at RHS Web Site
changes This is a moderately significant revision of Level 7 pwhex files.
It combines a number of corrections with a widely scattered set of enhancements, including things that might be termed both: we have a better match of pwhex and the art we are using. In spite of that, you should get new map art - because we added some Low Capacity Ferries and trails.
Trail systems were expanded mainly in the Dutch East Indies - and significantly only on New Guinea - where the trail system now extends to Hollandia. Two LCF were added between points on Western New Guinea.
Coastal hexes were revised near Australia, in the DEI, along the coast of the USSR and Korea, and in the Kurils. In many cases additional coastal hexes were created. A minor "railroad to nowhere" was added in South Australia.
A significant number of hex sides were changed to match each other, art, or both.
There is no intention to revise this file set again soon.

RHS v7.681 PWHEX set sent to Send Space and avail at Web Site
Changes This is identical to 7.85 except
where the Trans-Australian was "straightened" to match map art
it was broken before - and it is not broken here
Without this rail link no supplies or resources will move across the Continent - if they ever do - which is not known (I have never seen a message saying they are) - but it might matter - so here is the patch.

RHS v5.70 & v6.70 scenario files posted at send space and avail at web site
Changes This is not the final form 6.70 was planned to be. Incomplete items include:
some CW minesweepers are not 2 ship units
some USN LSTs are not present
some USN LSTs are not date/entry point corrected
some eratta are not corrected (probably)
However, it is a gigantic step in that direction.
Once again we have added many USN LSTs - and corrected many more.
Once again, we have folded in all eratta which were found working on Level 7 - eratta that somehow was missed by utilities and data detectives (some going back even before RHS to CHS or stock). We also have corrected some specific things repored in the Forum (e.g. CVO and RAO Japanese HQ are all Type 1 - none are Type 31 even if they have the name "amphib"). Many of the errors were pointers - and fixing them matters.
KNIL (Dutch) army units reworked and a few added.
JNAF/JAAF ASW loadouts reworked. This simple statement involves a lot of work because so many units are involved. A5M (Claude) reworked to include drop tanks - small in most scenarios and large in EOS (the Zero drop tank was developed on an A5M testbed). A5M JAAF variants renamed Ki-33 (from Ki-18) in EOS - and assigned to one additional chutai and three regiments (pending availability of A6Ms for escort work). These are also armed (in EOS) with 20mm vice 7.7 mm - based on experimental work before the war. Older Japanese "medium" bombers fitted with normal loadouts of 50 kg bombs vice 100 kg bombs.
A few devices corrected/enhanced in minor technical ways. And the Gurka squad increased from 1 to 15 per month in 5 scenarios, 20 in EOS.
There will be at least one more release of level 6 scenaios - to fold in the remaining MSW/LST matters - and any unidentified eratta which may be discovered. But this is the cleanest release of 6 yet.
RHS v7.787 PWHEX set sent to send space and avail at web site
changes Since there is a significant RR problem
I reviewed the China coast and Korea - and found a number of things - I swear that the coast art creeps. We got another coastal hex in China for land units to enter.

RHS v7.70 scenarios sent to send space and avail at web site
changes The only difference between this and 6.70 or 5.70 is there is a great deal more eratta corrected here. This may be approaching the utility of 5 and 6 at this time. What is missing (for sure) is some more LST work and the final MSW conversion to two ship units for CW navies. I have a report some units that should report to forward commands in scenarios other than PPO or EOS may need correcting - and I will investigate that for x.71 level as well.
plus there was a cam file broken in v7.70 CVO so two fixes have been posted at Send Space 1. a rebuilt full set of V7.70 scenarios for those who have not downloaded yet

RHS v6.72 scenarios posted at Send Space and avail at web site
changes This set is not quite final - mainly with respect to USN LSTs - and a few CW minesweeping trawlers. There no doubt will be more eratta found by cross checking. We also will rework a few EOS planes for 6.73.
The main thing here is an unpleasant amount of location eratta - most of which seems to not have affected players (but which slowed turn execution) - related to where units appear. In this version the South Atlantic Entry will get many units weeks before they appear in Level 5 at Aden - you can send them either way (East or West).
Once again it appears there will be at least one more version of Level 6 - and it looks like it may take up to a week to generate - because we are keeping 18 scenarios in sync. I was delayed by player reported issues - but at least we have addressed them. And as a result this is the cleanest file set yet.

RHS v7.72 senarios posted at send space and avail at web site
changes Once again there is more here than in the Level 5 and 6 updates - many things updated for 7 which did not apply to them - or modified for Level 7. In this case, we are using Recife Brazil in leiu of the South Atlantic Entry point - and you get two more weeks to play with. Alternatively New Orleans might be the entry point (for US units).
EOS has the reworked Me-109T exchanged for the Ki-44 III - the upgraded A5M4 from 7.71 - it lost the Ki-34s - and converted Hawk II and III to Axis Hawk. There are two unused Allied plane slots. We need new plane filmstrips - and for now the Axis Hawk uses A5M4 art. Air groups were reworked for the Axis - related to these aircraft only.
All remaining MSW except trawlers were reworked into two ship units. A number of other eratta of the pointer sort were corrected.
For the first time it appears the ships and classes may be eratta free. So are planes and groups (unless the matter of command in non PP scenarios is eratta). Only locations are problematical - with numbers of pointer or data issues to work in. Even so - I am sure this is not as clean as Levels 5 and 6 - and tests will show more erratta of the location sort in particular. But it is a gigantic improvement.
Some labeling matters in the Scenario files were corrected.

RHS v7.791 PWHEX set sent to Send Space and avail at web site
changes There were four bad locations - 3 islands and a point on Madagascar - not defined as land -
this fixes those points (and any eratta found meanwhile)
Once again this will freeze unless something significant is found
that is - there is no plan to change pwhex at level 7
We need to update Level 5 and 6 pwhex for some corrections and some enhancements in due course - a one time deal - incorporating all things learned since last release

RHS v6.73 scenarios posted at send space and avail at web site
changes This update will introduce new plane sets - sans art where required (we point at the nearest art in the set if new are isn't ready) - so expect to upgrade to another set in a few days (when Cobra is back)
It also folds in some eratta and enhancements re ships, locations, the cam file, name it.
It does not address the Isles class MSW trawlers or add the missing USN LSTs.
In its Level 6 (and Level 5) forms this is a very clean set of files.
We still have two free Allied plane slots in most scenarios and five in EOS - some of which may be added.
This set of files introduces DIFFERENT BBO/RPO/PPO Allied air groups - with flying boats replacing US Naval bombers in many units - as was planned early in the war (for which Boeing built the largest factory in the world).

RhS v7.731 scenarios posted at send space and avail at web site
changes This is similar to 6.73 and 5.73, with additional planes, and with some air groups reworked or added related to those planes. Only the SBC remains to be added to the set. This has considerably more eratta worked in than Levels 5 and 6 did - because there is so much more to work in. There is no significant air or ship eratta remaining. But the location files are not very clean - with about 400 technical errors identified but not corrected - and the USN LSTs and Allied MSW trawlers (the least of the MSW) remain to be added/reformed. [When MSW rework it is common to add missing units which previously could not be in any mod due to lack of slots] Unsually there is even a revised cam file - with eratta worked into it - as there was in Levels 5 and 6.

RHS v6.74 scenario pak including a provisional Allied Air pak posted at send space and avail at web site
Note Air Art is still being worked on to clean up will take a few days yet
Note 2 V5 will be packaged first thing in morning and sent out
Changes This is not quite where we wish to be - but almost:
ALL MSW now are two ship units
ALL Allied aircraft have the new art (so you need to download the new art filmstrip for the Allies)
ALL air units reworked to address aircraft changes
BBO set has removed US Naval engineer regiments (but not battalions) and modified large AV to CS standard - with the planned but never implemented enhanced armament in some cases
MUCH eratta worked in - more to level 7 as usual -
work in progress both allied and japanese a general cleanup and ajustments to tops and sides 1st stage 2nd stage changing bitmap locations to match air slot numbers 1:1
long job with mifune changing all ship art to JWE new standard panels
fist stage and new ship panels will not need a restart BUT stage 2 will but a long way off

RHS v6.742 scenarios posted at Send Space and avail at Web Site
changes This is almost 6.75 - but Japanese RTAF planes point at the wrong art - the right art is not yet done - and there is leader eratta to fold in yet.
(Japanese art is being work on at the moment could be about 3 days away Cobra Aus)
It corrects a very visible error - a Level 7 unit appearing in the Indian Ocean is now 9999ed out.

Changes This is for those who want the most eratta free form - and most technically developed form - of Level 5. It isn't really necessary - but it is better than 5.741 - it is easy to send out - and I am not sure when 5.75 can be released?
Just as with 6.742 it permits a glimpse at the reorganized China - the revised scheduling of USN LSTs - and the new Soviet PVO (that is fighter defense) air division. It is an opportunity to comment and find issues before x.75 is released and frozen.

RHS resource util set for v5 v6 & v7 posted at Send Space and avail at Web Site
changes These utilities are updated for the addition of the minor map edge entry point of Yining [Sinkiang] - and are current - and probably wont change for 7.75 freezing.

RHS v7.92 PWHEX set posted at Send Space and avail Web Site
changes This file set adds roads to Northern China - the "caravan and truck routes" of the US Army Atlas series to Ulan Bator and from Urumchi to the Soviet border area. [The latter road was already in CHS, but it was a "road to nowhere" - whereas now it has a border entry point defined].
It also adds "invisible railroads" connecting Durban and Capetown, South Africa, and separately Rio and Recife, Brazil. These exist for logistical use by the AI - not because players are intended to use them - and they do not show in map art. Players can use them, however, if for some reason slow rail travel is preferred to taking a ship.
Otherwise some hex sides that were mismatched in the Tibet area were redefined.
