I have tried to play the 1805 extended campaign and I could not make any
significant progress to Vienna after eliminated Mack's army. The reason is
all to do with woefully inadequate supply from the supply source to keep
all my corps moving. Apparently, tons of supply points are lost as they are
forwarded from the source to the center of operation. And then some supply
trains arrived at the CP without adding their points to the stockpile.
Am I the only one experiencing this? I have updated to v2.2.

No. Auto-supply has been pretty good to me so far. Has the loss rate increased w/ the distance from source to the cp? Is your loc austrian free? Haven't seen a supply wagon not deliver to the cp before. I've not updated to v2.2.

I am on v2.2 and have had no problems that I have noticed yet.
Sometimes the supply wagon will deliver nil (0 ) supply to the Corps. as it has used up all the supply before it gets there.

1) Keep the Centre of OP's nearer the Corps. than the supply source.
I usually keep it as close as I dare to the area my reserves are operating in ( 8 to 12 hexs approx. ). This is usually about 3 times further away from the supply source than the "reserve" area.

2) Don't be afraid to move supply from supply depots to the Centre of OP's once you are past them and they are unlikely to be used as depots again.
This applies particulary to Munich if you have it at the start.
But remember to leave some for any reinforcements (75-100) on their expected route to the front line.

3) Remember also that Corps. can capture wagon trains & supply depots.
When you have played a few games as BOTH sides you will recall where the depots and the enemy centre of OP's is likely to be. Try to get a Corps. to block the enemy supply lines and live off of captured supply wagons. Use Cavelry to capture VP point towns with possible suppy depots.

4) Don't be afraid to move without supply. It does work within reason - especially if you can make use re 3) above.

5) Do remember however to guard your centre of Op's ( extra task for "reserves" ) and ensure the enemy can't outflank you and attack your supply source and/or line of communications ( supply wagons ).

Update to 2.2 - it is useful.
Hope you are at least on 2.1 as that had loads of fixes etc.

See also New Scenarios file available from Frank Hunter - insert of "missing" units ( particularly Sc. 3 ).
