i do not like having to scroll sideways to get info on minor leaguers. i think there is a way to get all the pertinent info with just 7 columns and not have to do any scrolling except up and down if you have more than 10 or so players.

for position players the column should look like this

age pos avg hr rbi pot ov

smith 24 1b .278 6 18 6 18

this gives you everything you need to know to make a quick analysis of the player. the pot tells you his potential and the overall tells you that he averages 6 per skill (con,pw and eye). you know he is a player that has some potential to be a major leaguer. obviously if you want more info you click on him and everything shows up as it does now. if that pot number is 1 and his ov number is 5- you can probably write him off as a prospect particularly if his age is in the high 20's or older.

for pitchers it is not quite as easy but still can be done.

age pos era w l pot ov

brown 31 r 1.16 1 2 1 6

this player has a good era stat but his potential and overall scores indicate that it is doubtful he will be a contributor on the majors level.

all that is needed is for the game to provide an overall score for each player and the need for scrolling is gone. there might be some cases when you might have to get more info and in those cases you just click on the player and everything shows up. i think this idea should be given consideration and would be an improvement.
