Okay I'm in I believe my 4th season in this association and I started the amateur draft and drafted a player. Then puresim just sat there, didn't say what other teams were doing or anything. So I gave it the 3 finger salute and started puresim backup. Started the draft again and drafted another player. Same thing happened so I 3 finger saluted it again and when I started it back up I went to my roster and noticed that both players I signed in the 1st round are on my team and both of them say they were drafted in the 1st round of the 2010 draft. So how can that be?

So with that.. Shaun would you like me to send this association to you?

please send me the most recent backup of the association. Use www.sendthisfile.com

Also, please include a short note about the issue so I can remember why you sent it to me :)

Thanks

Got it, and I'm afraid that association is in big trouble. There are 70 man rosters and nowhere near enough money to keep them stocked -- I'm not sure how it got in that state but it does not look repairable. I think you might want to try creating a new one, with a bit higher finances too. I have never seen this issue before, so I wonder if there is something I am missing?

I am running into a similar issue. Following my 4th season, I wasn't able to cut a player WHO'S CONTRACT HAD RUN OUT because "You cannot afford to cut this player and re-sign another". No lockup problems, but the contract issue is definitely there.

Obviously, if the player I am cutting doesn't have a contract and I can't sign another...there is a problem in there somewhere.

I went ahead and ended the season, and so for the amateur draft I was able to draft ONE amateur...and then had to skip the rest of the draft. I was forced to sign the low-rent $50,000 players for 1 year to complete my 70-man roster...I believe there were 12 of them or so.

Let me know if a copy of my association would help as well. I have currently played one game in the 5th season.
