I was curious about how many people thought the new in-cover graphic covered too much terrain?

Lahtinen, you're the man!

Hmm...I kinda liked it. The "old" one looks too "regular" for foxholes...looks more like a stand of leafless trees.
Never really liked the "round" sandbag entrenchments either.

Maybe we should 'poll' it.

The new one doesn't look "bad" it just covers up so much of the underlying terrain it dominates the hex. The round sandbags are right out.

FINAL changes.....

Lt Mortar units are Speed 9 in line with the rest of the regular infantry, Med Mortar units (up to 82mm) are Speed 4 to allow them to move a bit more easily, all other mortars are Speed 0 or 1, depending on the size. Lt MG units are Speed 9, Med MGs are Speed 8, able to keep pretty close to the regular infantry, Hvy MGs are Speed 6, AAMGs vary according to their mounting and size. Adjusted all Costs accordingly. While not exactly what was proposed, the change should be acceptable to most. One reason why it was raised was that the UK 3” mortar units in all OOBs had Speeds of 4, while the other 80-82mm mortars were all Speed 1. The tubes and plates were pretty close in weight between the various weapons; no reason why the Brits should get extra movement and the US or Germans not.

That was our plan, to have it out for the holiday weekend, and we still might, but some of us do not have acces to the FTP, which, hopefully will get changed

Thats the funny thing about permissions on various sites.
Sometimes you can, lots of times you cant.

I guess I will keep my eyes out for it.

BTW, anything in there for the canadians ??

Well, we should have access to this particular FTP, but alas we do not.
Only a select few seem to have it.

Some things have been done to Canadians but dont recall them at the moment, the list of changes are posted somewhere.

Just that I cannot remember any changes from what have been posted.

For those of you who have High speed, you can try this temporary download site...
it is a bit tricky, you have to click "free" then wait for a timer to count down, then follow instructions.
It only allows so many downloads per hour or something like that.

anyway, here it is for the lucky few..

DONT FORGET TO UNISTALL V2 BEFORE TRYING TO INSTALL 'FV'

I guess I will wait until it is something a little more reliable.
I have been bumped the last few times that I have tried it.

Well, I got the download, but ModSwap can't get past 1005.wav.
Is this a bad download, & can I fix it somehow?
