Hi,

What is the real score if two armies clash in a hex in which the defenders were building fortifications, and the attackers in the mean time reduced the fortifications ?
e.g. On the screen that shows the hex information I still see fortification level 4 and building 64% for the next level (and increasing day after day), but the consecutive battles tell me the enemy has reduced fortifications already down to zero.

Can there (in the game) still be fortification building during a fight ?
If not, by having the fortification building still switched on will there be negative effects on the engineers in the team (still fatigue and support reductions and thus less contribution to the fighting/bombardment efficiency of the whole team ?) ?

Yes, there can still be fortification building during a fight. There is no reason other than the use of supplies for the defender not to build. It doesn't reduce support at all or increase fatigue. (At least not that I've ever noticed or heard.)
