the AI should have called these gliders "CRASHED" rather than landed, cause all the mortar crews have abandoned their kit!! and the Paras got away lucky with only one squad landing in a gun pit.

not only have they got most of the highground covered by squads,,a huge mine line,, and now randomly set fortifications!! NOW this GUNNY is how a truely layered defence works,, the mines filter approaching units into their desired travel lanes,, must be nice to still play it without this burden and still concern yourself with how factual and historical your core is and opperates,, get some BALLS troop,, turn mines back on!!

yes alby I'm hard on gunny, but I figure its just a game,,and we all Know this game well enough to realize its inadiquicies,,I almost always use my on fields engineers to place them just incase I get flanked/ counterattacked like your campaigns first battle did.
Look what I'm dealing with for Arrty

the tank escort for "Priest detachment has run a foul in the mines, but still has 1 unit of the platoon with movement that has pulled back to cover and await reinforcements, his squadmates fire on known positions.

can definately see how some players can go "yawn" another assault, but I usually have way too many things going on on a small scale on the field that it never seems to drag on. jap sniper potshoting at the recon sec that got threw the mines easily??

On the cave: bypass if possible. They can only be destroyed from the front, so don't waste explosives on side or rear attacks.
