I didn't have much left, and C&C wouldn't let anything FLANK,minorly withdraw to regroup or entrench to await support!!

Now I did this assault by the book,Having my recce in chevyWA's approching their deploy line and disembarking to cross on foot, probing from covered geography only moving 1 hex every two turns so they get 1 turn to look for enemy positions. After my recon the engineers follow the same path as the scouts loaded on my tanks in single file with the platoon leaders riding leader tank in the middle of their advance line. Next comes the infantry and crew served weapons, loaded in heavy trucks to start the campaign and upgraded eventually to something that can defend itself later and get closer to "line of contact and help with perimeter defence. Now arrty and heavy support like towed AA guns,AT guns or specialty tanks and ammo vehicles are moved up to where the ground units ahead of them have secured and consolidated.

my preliminary barrages didn't get many casualties but it slowed the forward enemies elements enough to get some of my force to contact points the first turn they appeared in the north region.

I have to divide my Arrty orders points between about 6 commanders, and will show some turn 3 action of my approching the north VH's, the fighting already happening around the main central VH's and south sector. Going to lay smoke on and allong the drop zone with my priests end of turn 3

2 things-----

1. you had way more tanks than the Buna camp ever had in real life

2. C and C is a joke!!! It seems like a good idea to keep players from having each unit be its own general but it also prevents units from retreting or reforming or getting their heads down!!!! The way the game system works staying in contact with an enemy is almost like charging them!!!!
