Bring back the Hoff ! IIRC that was one export from the US to Germany that did rather well. These Germans have strange tastes

True. But as wdolson already pointed out: Germany isn't the only third-world country that likes Baywatch and Dallas.

What is wrong with Babewatch?

International bankers intent on breaking the US economy and then the education system so as to be able to sieze control of this country within 50 years. The last reports I've read indicated the leadership of this cabal is most likely located in southern Australia.

I thought he moved to Canada...somewhere near Ontario.

No need. If you just give them a little time they'll all come to you.

True then we can send one Texas Ranger to Mexico City and take over the country without firing a shot.

Before revocation can be consdered there is the little matter of the war debts for WWI and WWII to be resolved.

Please remit in full, with interest.

Thank you.

Its a small matter of accounting oversight. They were too busy fighting the war while were were tallying up our bottom lines on invoices, pending loans and the like.

Ah.. I see the Proper Forms Have Not Been Filled Out.

Its not a bad idea. I'm just not sure how effective of an offensive force one baseball player would be.

I'm sorry to have to resurrect this thread but I have something that needs to be said. I was just watching some show with a Brit commentator and, well.....

The next citizen of the UK to pronounce the name of one of this nations biggest cities as "Losangeeleeeees" will be shot on sight.

Used to, but whats that to do with anything? It is simply very annoying, especially considering that these are the same people that complain about us adding "shire" to things. We add "shire" because we think all Brits are hobbits. Besides, how would you like it if we suddenly started saying "Londoooon"?

Perhaps he worked for the Dept of Silly Name Pronunciation. You know, the one just down the hall from the Dept of Redundancy Dept.

In return, can I shoot the next American to say "Copenhahgen" instead of "Copenhaygen"?

Well, only if you want to be a follow the crowd sort. Shooting Americans seems to be so fashionable its really a bit cliche.

Agreed, but only with the caveat that you darn Euros start adapting your infernal placenames to be more pronounsable by normal folks. I refer to manes like Maastricht, Wien and Munchen. And how are we expected to pronounce Brest in public anyhow?

Perhaps, to be creative and faithful to the classics, I could set up something involving a roller skate, a big pane of glass and a bowling alley...

You are all wrong. It is not Los Enjelees. It is Los Anheles. Or to be more precise it will be soon. Again.

Ask Samuel Huntington.

By contract, that would also require dominoes, at least 12 rope pulleys, a burning candle and, in some states, a bow and arrow.

All "accidents" utilizing muzzle loading cannon must also include a hamster and a hamster wheel.

If the US was returned to the commonwealth, two things would happen.

1. Australian back packers would stop exclusively going to the UK and start travelling to the US as well.
2. Both Australia's & America's average IQs would improve as a result

I also have to mention here that on a reality television show (so must be legit) over 250 Kiwis in Auckland were persuaded to sign a petition asking their own government to cede NZ to Aus and become Tasmania 2.  All it took was about 3 hours and two scantily clad Aussie blondes (women - not beers, although you have to wonder . . .)
