Hello,
I am actually wondering how moddable this game is? I have been playing it for a while now and there are some things I would love to change to make the game better.

*I would like to change the start date to 1936. Is it possible to do this and can I make it so the Wallies and Germans are not at war from the beginning?

*I would like to add more graphic representations of units. By having the game start in 1936 there would naturally be more upgrades to purchase as most countries will start with very poor tech. Is this possible?

*I would like to add more territories, is that possible?

*Is there a way through events where I could add Industry to certain territories that previously did not have any?

*The unit graphics confuse me. I changed some of them around using 0,0,0 as the backround, but they do not work correctly. I had them facing a slightly different direction and it looks like the game tried to spin them back. Is there other colors I need to worry about being transparent, shadows etc? Do I have to keep the units facing the directions they are in now?

Thanks for any of the help you may be able to provide.

(1) Not sure, could be possible.

(2) Definitely possible.

(3) Impossible.

(4) I don't think so. It could be possible to change the factory multiplier though.

(5) No idea.

(3) Impossible.

In WAW Lebatron did add new territories with his Franco Alliance mod so I would guess it could be possible here also unless it changes in AWD. Not sure how he did but I saw there is a master map somewhere and the list of regions is also a separate file. How it's linke would still for you to figure it out.

Did anyone manage to make graphic updates?

That said, the current graphics are really nice... I've finally seen my first Panthers and Tigers as the Germans.

Obvisouly, one nice bit of chrome would be that units are not upgraded to latest tech level, so you still have 109's as well as 190's on the map... same with tanks, but then we are talking a different game altogether!

Does anyone have a link to all the picture graphics - curious what is available in later tech avenues?

I don't have a link to all of them, however I can tell you all of the German upgrades...

Tactical Bomber upgrades to the flying wing design. The name escapes me right now, but it looks sharp.

The strategic bomber upgrades to the He177 and then into what I would assume is the Amerika Bomber.

The artillery upgrades into a Motorized Nebelwerfer.

The Fighter upgrades from a Me109 to Fe190A to Fw190D to Me262.

I think that is pretty much it though.

Should be "Horton HO IX / Gotha Go 229 Flying Wing"

See this site: http://www.militaryfactory.com/aircraft/detail.asp?aircraft_id=105

It looks like an "Arado 234 Blitz Bomber Airplane"

See this site: http://www.militaryfactory.com/aircraft/detail.asp?aircraft_id=101

The HEARTS OF IRON community are quite prolific at turning out unit sprites... it's a shame they haven't picked up on this game. Would be lovely to see more sprites.

The winter colour FW190 doesn't work for me... everything else is in summer colours, so I'd like to see a green FW190 (most of mine end up defending France against allied air attacks anyway).
