PM sent to both my opponents with my email to get those games started. Due to visitors I wont be able to actually play much if at all till Monday though.

Thank you MrQ for setting this up.

I was thinking of adding a collum to the list of ongoing games that would show the current year each game is in.

My question is:
Would players post when their game year changes? or
Would the info become out of date(pun not intended) with no updates?

What the heck, Ill do it anyway.

My game with Erik has already reached 1940. By the way, Christian - Erik should be the Axis in your game with him and you should be the Allies. You probably have it right - but I noticed your post and thought I'd mention it (since I am the Axis in my game with Erik).

Will try to get mine done in the next hour or two. BTW for me at least this is a bad time to start the tourny. I'm in the process of packing this weekend to return to college. After a 2 year absence I'm affraid its going to be really hard to pick up where I left off. My Biology and Chem are very rusty. What is DNA again

Just a small request about the player list below. Could it be reversed so that its Axis vs Allies and not listed the other way around. As far as I know, its been SOP to list that way. And when it comes to naming my PBEM games, I always list Axis player first and so do my opponents. ie Lebatron vs Kondor not Kondor vs Lebatron as its listed below. It would be nice to have it uniform is all I'm requesting.

Game Allies------vs------Axis----------------Game Year
01) aaminoff------------Avatar47------------------1939
02) Avatar47-----------christian brown----------1939
03) christian brown---Erik Rutins----------------1939
04) Erik Rutins---------Forwarn45----------------1940
05) Forwarn45---------GKar-----------------------1939
06) GKar----------------Haudrauf1962------------1939
07) Haudrauf1962----JanSorensen-------------1939
08) JanSorensen------kondor--------------------1939
09) kondor-------------Lebatron------------------1939
10) Lebatron----------mikemcmann--------------1939
11) mikemcmann------MrQuiet-------------------1939
12) MrQuiet------------rjh1971--------------------1940
13) rjh1971------------tica-------------------------1939
14) tica-----------------wargameplayer----------1939
15) wargameplayer--aaminoff-------------------1939

Ditto that, it helps control the confusion level.

Agreed about Lebatron's request, I thought the same thing already - and thanks for fulfilling it instantly.

My games are progressing a bit slow at the moment which is my fault for the most part, but I should be able to respect the 48 hours limit.

Hi. Paging Avatar47... I am concerned that email or PMs from the forums may not be getting to them. I think I sent one PM from the forums, and I replied to one initiated by Avatar47, and I have sent another PM from the forums, have not heard anything. If you are reading this, please check whether your email is receiving OK.

Is Christian Brown in contact with Avatar47?

Thanks... please let me know if there is a better place on the forums to post something like this.

- Alex

PS my game with wargameplayer has reached 1940.

Hi There fcam1387:

It is actually possible but does require a few things.
First you should re-read the rules and understand you will have 2 games going at a time, one as Axis and one as Allies.

2nd
There has to be a total of at least 3 new players that want to join so that I can start a second list and They all have to join by the end of this weekend so that their games are not very far behind the current list. If this was to happen then as these players become elligible for the next round they will be put on the main list. So dig up a couple more players, read the rules in the first post, join the ladder and post back here by the end of the weekend.

Sounds fair enough.

One other thing: Could there be a problem when two opponents become eligible for the next round at the same time (e.g. because of a draw)? It might not be intended that they'd have to play against each other once again.

It is intended that they will play each other again, but I will order them in the list so that they play the opposite side from the game that they just drew on.

My game with Erik has reached 1942. Not sure if I'll have time for an AAR, but may try to do a short one. And Gkar and I have reached 1940.
