I was playing the new campaign and discovered a bit of aplayability issue. If the Russians are foced back to defending the map with the bridge in the center, then the germans are foced to fight onto the map without holding any VLs to start. This means they are forced to rush the bridge to meet the 2 minute timer. This is an unreasonable rush and does not allow for much supression probing fire. I suggest that a VL be added on the left side of the river on this map. Perhaps this could be added if a patch is made? Is there a way for a user to make a copy of a campaign and edit one map in it?

Take the Operation in question from the Data\Camp_Ops Folder and copy it into your Games\Battles Folder.  Open the Operation in the Scenario Editor and make your changes.  Copy the changed file back to the Data\Camp_Ops Folder.  Needless to say about any backing up...  if you want to change the Historical Operation too (not just in the Campaign), then do the same with the Operation in the Data\Ops Folder.

The pre-release debate swung back and forth on this issue.  My style of play is quite measured, and these situations had me growling a little, but in the end I liked the dramatic change I had to make to my Tactics, and no pain no gain?  Once you get the hang of it, it is quite easy to win as the Germans, so a bit of teeth grinding helps to stir up the mix a bit.  Just my own point of view.  It can come as a bit of a shock...

Thanks.  I could prbaly adapt but it's be annoying to have some units mowed down to buy time.  Also, the AI as the Germans stands no chance in this setup.
