Suva and Pago Pago, along with Canton have been reinforced with guns and troops, im hoping that will at least make it harder for him to take em

well technically its a stalemate in naval terms

even with Enterprise Yorktown Saratoga and Lexington theres no real way of stopping the KB

a raid on Kwajalein, which is their logical and most likely base, would be damn near impossible to accomplish, theyd never get close enuff, besides Devastators are worthless POS's

besides the fact that hes got all the elite pilots and most likely the Pearl Harbor 6, plus hes got the zero bonus, and i dont have very good AA, besides the fact that i dont have the Avengers with me

plu to deploy my carriers properly id need more escorts

but maybe theres a way toforce him to divide KB

hmm

maybe if i hit Wake, and used Saratoga and Lexington, loaded with escorts and extra F4Fs and SBDs, that he would only send 2 or 3 big carriers, and i might then have a chance to pull a baby Midway, probly losing Sara and Lex as well, but maybe i could keep another carrier nearby and have them chase em, loaded with Devastators and SBDs

maybe it could be done, maybe sink 2 of his carriers

well Halsey and all 4 PacFlt carriers are sitting cozy at Pearl right now, and im cooking up a little scheme to even the odds a bit in case we have to go flight deck to flight deck

Hornet arrives soon but i dont think itll be soon enuff, and even with her, against the full KB, and zero bonus, and no avengers?

not good prospects for the USN

but then i got a good port going at Palmyra, and maybe 50 land based fighters there

maybe if i lured DB into range of palmyra Halsey could beat him, or at least give him a bloddy nose, and hed have to crawl back to Kwajalein and my based be right there, AND i could save the planes and pilots and maybe even the carriers

hmmm

just neeed proper bait...

i think ill send Yorktown under Spruance with an RCT and sum supporting forces to retake Wake and maybe disrupt DBs blitz and make him react to ME for a change
