If you piled tons of engineers into a base the base would build what ever alot faster? Also if you concentrated on just that one thing (airport) it would build faster still?

also, make sure you use ALLIED engineers

SeaBeas seem to work much harder than Jap diggers...

Yes, 30 bulldozers are much more effective than 100 slave laborers...not to much some serious engineering know-how.

If you have a spare HQ for your stack of Engineers, it's also makes them happier (makes up support deficit, so you're working at 100%).
