Are there any "official" or "designer" updates to this version?
As far as I know there are no game breakers in it.
I would like to play as Russians. Any takers?

I am really interested in Buzz's version also, but I would like
to wait for more feedback on possible bugs before offering a game.

Meantime any potential German invaders for the stock version?
