Second round of public beta VERY close. Everyone seems to think this newest internal version is ready, so we're just testing it to make sure.

As I've written elsewhere, this second round of public beta will not need to be anywhere as long as the first. We're pretty confident that what needed to be fixed or changed in the first public patch has been taken care of, but just need to be sure of it before issuing the "gold" patch.

I think we're all sufficiently pumped up.

BTW, you guys at WCS have impressed me! The mouseover suggestion was put forward on May 1, and you guys had it up and running by May 2!  Cool!  I like the game system so much that I went and purchased CoG. Just hope you go back and refine it somewhat, before moving on to any new projects, after FoF. Currently, while waiting for this FoF beta patch, I'm going thru the data (.txt) files, and have found some minor ambiquities (sp?), which I will be posting in the "Limited Public Beta" forum for CoG (v1.2.26)

edit: Don't take my error comments as nit-picking, it's just something I like to do (delve into data files) to kill time, since I work rotating shifts.

I'm glad that you're also playing COG, which itself is a great game (in my biased opinion). Definitely, please do make suggestions for improvements.

I do know that we'd like to be able to retrofit certain features of FOF to COG when we come out with the COG expansion pack that we're planning. No word yet just what those would be, but we do think that several of the things that were added to the engine for our second game would be great additions to the first.
