good morning from chattanooga. Yo Jason, I was thinking, what are the odds of a release on D-Day? Thats right June 6 is almost here, and i think this would be the perfect date for the re-release of the campaign series. What sais you?

Hi Paul.

It would be an excellent date! Although we're hoping the set would have been out for a month by then!

Take care and good luck

Heck, even if you went gold tomorrow it take a couple weeks to package the thing don't you think? Of course May 8th is an auspicious date as well.

disagree - regardless of what we all think of Vista now, I suspect the compatibility work that is being done now will pay off well into the future.

cheers

That works for each new MS OS too!!

Well...I didn't mean to turn this into a like or dislike of MS...just "jokingly" suggesting they leave Vista to Vista and get the game out already.

I haven't played this game for many, many years and do curse the day I allowed my wife to talk me into selling all my old games at a  car boot sale!!

what I mean is, eventually MS will declare EOL for XP... and at that point that's when we'll all appreciate the work that is being done at the moment by the CS devs... so even if no dev work is done in the future I'm sure it's a good move now for the longevity of the game.

cheers

I'm wondering if we are in fact days away as it seems that we have been days away for months!  I know we are "close," but are we at least close to providing a release date that is hard and fast????

For the record, I'm not asking them to hurry, just for some better intel.  I'm looking forward to a bug free product as well.

While I understand your frustration, whenever I have mentioned "close" I was of the opinion we were nearing the go point. Unfortunately, something unexpected seems to creep up which requires a slight delay. From what I understand now, we are pretty much good to go, just waiting on the compiling and formalities.

Take care and good luck

Caps are considered "shouting" and impolite on forums and chats.

I see Matrix is releasing the "East front, West front" series of games again. Will there be anything different from my older versions? I mean other than operating systems? Thx.

There will be more info soon. But the features list already gives you an overview of the additions.
