Something weird happened in Chungking, I didn't see anything about this in the manual, or is it just a bug?

I'm playing as the Japanese and I captured Chungking, all of the units that were on it surrendered because I had it encircled. The weird thing was, after that I could still do a deliberate attack, I thought that was weird and I went and did one. There appears to be a force there still and no units are on the hex, it's just an invisble force When I attack it shows Allied and Japanese ground losses too...

Yup, several of us have experienced this problem. Solution for me was to stop attacking. After that I stopped losing people.

Had it happen to me recenly too: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1455104

My opponant confirmed that the units were ghosts. I have ignored them ever since with no ille effects.

You will lose points for LCUs lost attacking them but you will not score points for destroying the ghost units.

Forget it, Jake. It's Chinatown.
