Lets hold off on Round4 games for a bit and see if the Jap surrender rules change.

They will change, but I really haven't been in a hurry to push a release out. I've actually been playing a very fruitful game for fixing minor bugs and issues. Stuff you rarely see, but stuff that occasionally bugs you when you run into it none-the-less. Also found a data corruption bug which may or may not be the cause of minor weirdness occasionally experienced.

I'm afraid though that I wouldn't hold my breath for the next beta patch.

Actually, I guess this is the nudge I needed. I really should try to get something out, I imagine folks will like the View Mode and the Jap surrender. Other things are more subtle, like hopefully troops are less likely to retreat to weird places sometimes. And Saudi Arabia will narrows op-fire on the Red Sea (it doesn't do that in v1.011).

Things will still be slow though. I'll try to wrap up anything new in the next couple of weeks. Maybe a beta patch around the end of August.

I want to add a summation row on the regions screen, that shows the factory and resource counts. I am constantly going through and adding things myself, a real irritation when I know the computer can do it faster and more reliably.

Let´s bump this a bit... Game 1 is in 1943 now... It looks like AV is out of the question in this game...

At the beginning. Jan and me started a couple of weeks (moths?) ago, and we didn´t get very far. He said that he has changed his email address, but I got no reply from him for weeks...

It's unlikely that Joel does not know his whereabouts.............perhaps a PM to Mr. Billings would be in order if contacting Jan is important.

What is the current status - are things still on hold? Any word from Jan? I see he was last online on Dec. 24th.

No, I have not heard from Jan.
Yes, I need to get our rematch game started for round4.

If I do not hear from Jan real soon I think I will match Kondor and I up in round4 instead of giving Kondor and I forfiets in a effort to finish the tournament up quicker.

Hi all, was wondering if round four ever started (aside from forwarnvskondor game) and what were the final matches?

Regards, Rafael.
