The following units have either no leader or a foreign one:

The following leaders have a corrupted rank ID:
Teh V. (Leader ID:6632)
Jri-zbe P. (Leader ID:15982)

Just letting you know. I checked some of the double commands and those commanders are assigned to 2 or more commands. I do not understand teh corrupted rand ID lines. I checked those leader IDs and they seem fine( the names do not match ). I will have to check with Woos to see.

Corrupted rank ID means that they have a rank in the save file which is outside the 0 to 52 range defined by WITPtab.csv. How did you check the leader IDs, they are not shown in WitP.

BTW, do other people also have problems in this BBS with preformated content (like the one posted by Cpt Sherwood)? For me the inconsistencies list spills over into the following posts.

Woos, I went in the editor and looked at the leader that had those two IDs.

Oops, As for formatted material spilling over, are you using Firefox? I use IE7.0 and it stays in place for me.

Interesting, the they are mostly soviets, probably because they were assigned to diferent units in stock scen 15 and August Storm.

I'll go through and make delete second commnads - but I wouldn't worry about it much, MacArthur has multiple commands in stock also (design feature) - so I don't think it effects the game (it never has that I have seen).

Brian

Edit: Yes I see it spilling all over the page as well.

Brian, that is why I listed it as a possible problem or maybe potential problem. I have two games going using you mod and I have not worried about fixing the Soviets, it isn't worth it.

Yeah,...I don't think it hurts anything anyway.

Any turns already played? Maybe the original leaders were already sunk and the slots reused by randomly generated ones? Also the rank ID error seems to be quite seldom (workaround was added late), strange you have two.

Can you send me the save game so I can check whether witpDecoder has a problem?

Sorry, I don't get the rank ID errors from your file Cpt Sherwood (although the list of double assignments is more or less similar). Maybe I removed a bug unintentionally while adding new functionality.

Nevertheless, to stay on topic, there seems to be a great deal of Airgroups without assigned leaders in the scenario:

Woos, I think what has happened is that file is the file my Japanese opponent sent me for the first turn. I had not opened the file nor put in my password. Many of those squadrons have not even entered the game yet. And the ones I found that were on the board all had commanders.

Well heck, I guess the (NYA) stands for "Not Yet Arrived."
