A-ha! No, I changed it to MIL, because that's what I read in the schedule file When changing team abbrev, match it to the teamID column in the Teams table of the Lahmanps.mdb database (located in the PureSim root directory) according to whatever year your association is at. This way you don't need to touch or edit the retrosheet schedules every year. As long as the team abbrev match between your association and the Lahman database each season, PureSim will auto-detect and import the retrosheet schedules. Milwaukee, it has been my experience, is particularly troublesome when it comes to keeping tabs on its team abbrev and their various changes. But, then if you think about it, it kindly makes since. Look at how often they have changed over their franchise: Milwaukee Braves (NL) No Franchise Milwaukee Brewers (AL West) Milwaukee Brewers (AL East) Milwaukee Brewers (AL Central) Milwaukee Brewers (NL Central) I mean these guys have been bounced around like a ping pong ball. The good news for you 33Sherman, is that you won't have to worry about another Milwaukee abbrev change until 1998. Thats when it becomes "MIL". Of course, then theres always the Angels.......CAL, ANA, LAA....arrrggghhhh :)
