Again, I'm sorry for the holdups. I was promised that everything ships within the week. I'm chasing this with DR on a daily basis. Which is actually not my job but since Erik is still sick ....

Yes, and it sucks.

You will have a "shipping" mail soon in your inbox. It is actually not really DRs fault too. The use a 3rd party for fulfillment in the UK. And this very 3rd party has been given a final warning to get their stock and inventory system up to the 21st century.

I had recieved an e-mail on Wed evening to say my order had been shipped.

Just been of the phone to customer service ( I'd foolishly paid extra post and packaging for next day delivery)and it now seems that the game hasn't even left the warehouse yet?

Yeh I know it's not Matrix's fault or even, apparently, Digital river but I can't help think that this could potentially lose Matrix alot of custom in the future.

Well, I must have really rattled the folks at DR yesterday cos, out of the blue i've been offered a refund. Although, going by the experiences of the last five weeks, I have serious doubts about actually seeing any of my hard-earned cash again, it looks like I'll have to throw in the towel, chalk it up to a bad experience and move on.
It's not what I want but it's just been far too much hassle for what essentially amounts to a hard-copy manual. Pity really as I would really have liked to try out a few other Matrix games.

I have neither the time nor inclination to chew the fat with third party distributors. My order was placed with Matrix ( 15 June) and it is to them that my complaint is now addressed.

This is just totally ridiculous; it seems that Matrix products cannot be distributed in the UK. The fact that refunds are being offered is a sad admission that orders are incapable of being fulfilled.

Seems very strange. I live in Germany and made a download. Was wondering if I should have ordered the whole package with manual. I'm glad I never when I hear what's gone wrong with your orders.
I apologize for the comment I made weeks ago about the ship with the games being sunk by a U-Boot.
I feel that most of you who have been waiting for so long and still haven't recieved the game shoul be refunded and the game sent free.
I know that the matrix boys are not at fault. But someone should be made to pay for the mess up thats been made here.
4-5 weeks is too long!! I just hope that this thread does find an end. Because it's being going on too long.

Well, I can only say that we are sorry what is currently happening to the UK orders for CPS.

But this problem right now is only connected to CPS orders. And we never had such massive problems with any other orders from the UK. Keep in mind that the UK warehouse is responsible for the complete European continent. So any large scale problems we would know of

Hi James

I am VERY sorry about this delay and I am working on making this right as soon as possible. You been around Matrix Games long enough to know that we care about our customers and sometimes things do go wrong but we do our best to make it right. This is the first real problem we had like this with them in a long time.

David

Hello Everyone

I am working on this everyday and order have started shipping.  I expect the rest of the orders to ship between now and the end of this week.  I am very sorry for this delay and things are being put in place to make sure this does not happen again.

We agree that the delays were unacceptable, which is why we've worked with DR to overhaul their entire UK warehouse system to better match the one in the US, which has not experienced these kinds of ridiculous problems. The word from DR today is as follows: "All Campaign series should have shipped today, confirmation files should come through this evening."

Thanks Marc, David and Erik

I have just received an email stating that my order has been despatched.

Of course, I have yet to actually receive it

Oh well, I must confess to being somewhat more than a little bit annoyed now. I have read in these forums that if you only buy the hard copy/ physical version of a Matrix Game you do not get billed until your game goes out the door. Of course no Campaign Series games seem to have physically gone out the door here in The UK!!!!! - this despite receiving an erroneous 'despatch confirmation' E;mail to the effect that they had.

And yet when I check my credit card I note that I have been charged the £68.25 check out price (I ordered Carrier war at the same time) virtually as soon as I placed the order back on 12 Jul 07!

Matrix Games, I must say that I am most unimpressed when you don't even know your own charging policy.

This is double infuriating when I believe that I could at least try to get a (100% genuine) copy of the games from another (way more reliable) source that I have been dealing with for a long time for probably a lot less.
