Does the weapon facing in aircraft has any noticeable effect in game?

I want to add an aircraft class listing to witpDecoder (similar to the Ship Classes tabs) and am wondering whether I can just ignore the weapon facing or if I should use it to avoid the B-29 appearing as the best fighter of all.

I could imagine that for fighters (i.e. A2A-attack), only guns facing forward (and maybe Turrets) should count, whereas for bombers (i.e A2A-defense), guns should probably weighted according to

TopTurret=BottomTurret>Rear>TopRear=BottomRear>Front>Side>Upward

as this would IMHO make sense in real life (well, based an how little I know about A2A fighting). But is it similar in WitP?

And what about bombs, any difference between INT and XT (game-wise!) ?
