Hi,

I really don't like the fireworks animation, is there a way to make it go away?

Hey, squirrel.

If you're running v1.51 there's no way to shut them off.

However, the introduction of the CE versions gave you more input on this fanfare. I cannot recall exactly which CE removed them, but one of them removed fireworks entirely while subsequent CE releases gave you a check-box with which you can turn them off and on. I remember that the check-box didn't actually work, and the games went firework-less regardless of whether or not the box was checked.

To summarize, in v1.51 you have to live with the light show. If you want to make them go bye-bye, you'll have to upgrade to the CE versions.

There IS another way. The animation is located in one of the folders (maybe the html?), and you can simply delete it or move it to another location so it won't be used. That's what I did, but for the life of me I don't remember which specific file it is. Oh, the joy of turning 50.

The best thing to do is update to v1.60, which has a checkbox under "Options and Utilities."

1.60 is the latest fully supported release of PureSim 2007.
