When managing a game do you watch the pitch count? If so do you ever notice how one at-bat might take 15-20 pitches? I've always written it off as man that batter sure did fight off alot of pitches hitting foul balls.

With that said on some of those at-bats eventually the batter fouls out but you only see the ball flight on the final foul out.

Would anyone here care to see "every single foul ball"?

In a way I would... I think it would add to the whole managing thing.. you hear your batter make contact and then you see the ball flight and your like "damn a foul" and so onto the next pitch etc..

For that to happen though I think Shaun would have to change Puresim to a pitch by pitch sim for us GBG managers. OOTP has this and I like it.

Was just curious if anyone else would like it?

Considering that a single managed game doesn't take an inordinate amount of time to play, I'd be against the inclusion of watching foul-offs.

So, no pitch-by-pitch for me.

I am in agreement with NOT watching the foul offs.

I think the amount of time it takes to manage one game is already in the sweet spot.

I'd have to side with the previous two gentlemen. I personally don't monitor the flight of the ball all that closely to begin with, but nevertheless, just the end-ball is enough for me. Knowing there were 15 pitches in that at-bat and then what happened to that last, 15th pitch, is enough. I don't really need to know how many foul balls occurred, which direction they flew, how far, which fan caught it, how, etc. Just knowing that it took 15 pitches before putting it in play is enough to tell me that my batter had a sharp eye, was as stubborn as a female mule and that the pitcher was so terrified of him that he kept hurling crap.
