Perhaps I am simply a poor player...but.....

As the CP:

Even tho I have offensives loaded in my HQ, at times the most advanced HQ are NOT able to activate.
Usually the ones in Antwerp or Mons.

I have not yet managed to 'crush' the French Toul, Epinol, Belfort and Verdun line.
That is as it SHOULD be. The German General Staff estimated likely losses at ONE MILLION men, to penetrate
that fortress line. That is exactly why they decided to risk everything on a push thru Belgium.

It is odd that at times I have taken French forts by 'accident' where a spoiling attack actually takes the hex.

I routinely get crushed in Galacia as the A-H. This may actually be historical. But the Russian offensive
simply stops after three waves. All you need to do is take it for three pulses.
Kinda gives away the strategy there.

I have not yet managed to ever make Serbia surrender. Maybe I am doing something wrong, it is possible.
It simply seemed to me that it was NOT worth the economic costs of several offensives to seize 'EVERY' hex of Serbia.

The Eastern front is an absolute priority for the CP. The danger of a Russian offensive into Silesia cannot be overstated.
The front is simply too long.

I have never seen the ENT even try to take Turkey out.
In FTF they always have gone for the frontal attack in Belgium. Sometimes they even win.

I am just posting this because I read your other AAR and they are never anything like what happens to me.
In fact, my High Seas Fleet usually is so hammered after a few sorties that I cant risk it any longer.
To repair it is either too expensive OR, I am doing refits wrong, again always possible.

The game is FAR more subtle than the screen and interface would appear.
There is alot to learn here.

have you tried to use siege artillery against the forts?

it is not hard to crush serbia, you just need to spent quite a lot of ressources. again this is historical. it took a whole central powers campaign to seize the balkans and not just a single AH army. but you need to get it, because you need the ressources from the Ottoman Empire.

as for serbia, just take the cities , no need for the open lands between them. cavalry is your friend here (and primarily in russia) for stealing the odd empty hex.

The german high seas fleet shouldn't be able to take out the Royal Navy , i send some to Rostok on turn 1 and secure my transports while hopefully bashing the russian fleet up.
