portugal joins the allies!!!... which is kind of ahistorical to me ...

Portugal was historically an ally of England since 1373 but during WW2 the government was fascist style and I don't think Portugal would have any interest to declare war to Germany from which there was no threat and no gain to obtain. A fascist Spain at the border knowingly favoring Germany was surely not going to help a decision to join the Allies. Think this event should be scrapped entirely.

Japan Sp 44

The blockade was broken and the badly needed raw materials arrived to Japan.
More air attacks were launched against the US fleets, resulting in two BB sunk and one LF damaged.
Next turn our airforce will probably be wiped out, lots of US fighters in Formosa.

Spring 1944 - WA launches major air strikes at both Europe and Japan, with mixed results. However Allied losses should be replaceable while the Axis resource base was shrunk significantly. Germany has to choose between land units or air units soon.

things are not going the GER's way ... with PP hitting new low, GER found it really difficult to reinforce the eastern front.

The emperor has ordered a counter strike against US CV based in Luzon, an this time HQ is pleased, we stung again, WA down to only 5 CV on service. Nonetheless we are having a serious problem with raw materials our economy is choking, this turn we broke the navel blockade, but it wasn't too tight.

WA Summer 1944 - Japan is left without transports while a landing attempt in Greece fell short - let's call it a commando raid to gain training experience

With Fall approaching it is time to finally push open the door to Western Europe, Axis infrastructure was bombed continuously.

Japan Fa 44

This time Japan didn't attempt to break the blockade since our merchant fleet no longer existed, nonetheless the airforce managed to sink two LFs and 4 enemy TF.
Production continued on behalf of a CV and a BB who had to be scraped .
We need to hold on for four more turns

oh Rafael u are so efficient in posting the AAR ...

this is the belated AAR for GER Fa44

the GER high command has further consolidated the defence ... not much GER can do to delay the Red Army and can only do what GER can to tighten up the atlantic wall.  things are not looking good and what GER can do is to delay the defeat.

interesting to know that at least the GER has delayed D-day and that could seriously affect the outcome of the WWIII ...

Fall 1944 - WA attempt to advance near the hearts of the Axis with mixed results. While Korea is invaded easily as the last stepping stone towards Japan Europe proves to be a fortress, the 2nd front is postponed at least until Winter 1945. As our Russian "friends" are moving West quite nicely we shipped another batch of supplies to keep them moving. Hopefully the Red treat will force Germany to pull some of their Arty, Armour and Infantry away from the beaches of France, Italy and elsewhere. Would be a shame to allow the Communists to simply march into E. Germany

Turn ready to be sent to A511, however, I lost his Email address over the last weeks. So please if any of you guys reads this send me a PM with his address please.

To stop the Red Army's advance, troops are indeed pulled back from the beach resorts in france let's hope the boys remains on the beach are enough to fend off the 82th and 101st ...

Should have evacuated more troops when still had time, too late now. The blockaded is too tight to be broken, instead Japanese HQ orders his bombers to sink as many TF as possible, this time the air boys perform superb 5 TF sunk and 1 damaged (sub attack)

We need to hold on an attemp an armistice

Turn sent to Sandeman

WA Winter 1945 - With Greece and Spain invaded, WA finally have two feet in the door to Germany - we cannot grant Russia all of Europe

The Luftwaffe is down to negligible numbers, but several Allied bombers fell victim to the deadly German AA's positioned all over Europe in large numbers. Still, with the Red Army in W.Poland, the Reich is tumbling.

Japan saw the preliminary bombardments of what will become the landing zone of Operation Olympic, as soon as weather permits

turn sent to A511.

Japan Sp45

Rail tracks have been repaired and so have coastal defenses, new guns have been placed to fend off a possible US landing.
This time the US positioned cap over their traines making it impossible to sink them with our airforce, however a sub and a LF managed to send two TF to the sea bottom, one of them loaded with supplies.
Maybe we can hold on for two more turns.

Turn sent to Sandeman

WA Spring 1945 - After the Soviets have closed in on Eastern Germany the WA could not resist but took Yugo and also France. In order to increase the pressure on Germany Denmark was invaded and heavily reinforced. We are awaiting Germany's surrender...

Japan was also invaded this turn, leaving the road to Tokio open.

Turn set to A511.

So does the Rising Sun Empire.
Meanwhile a massive air attack was launched against the invading navy, wonder if I we should have allowed kamikaze action against those chewing gum eaters

Well this is what would have happened: I reloaded the turn after I had done it and sent it and tried the kamikaze attack, I'm glad I still have my airforce

WA Summer 1945 - Peace befalls the Pacific after Tokio has fallen. Exhausted from the long war a small task force was sufficient to finish off the Japanese Army - or the remnants of it. Most of Japan's soldiers still were stranded in China or Siberia.

in Europe preparations for the final assault on Germany went on, and supplies were sent once more to Russia to save WA blood... Hope Stalin does not mind Pic shows situation at end of turn.

Turn set to A511.

The once mighty Japanese Empire no longer exists...

Nothing for me to do but save the turn and pass it to Sandeman, couldn't even replay the turn since this game is being played under v1.011.

Congrats Arthur you conquered Japan just in time.

Wonder if we can still scratch a Marginal Allied Victory, if Germany holds another turn...
