hi im trying to get a league goin till i noticed all the ai have the lowest rated players at #1 on the chart to test it i also made a really good player to see if he whud get sorted up but it made him #3
down a spot i wonder what im doing wrong.


this is outdoor usa field 11 man college type roster
using the profiles that came with game...
seems to not work on my own team also auto fill usally puts my worst qb at #1 on the depth...

Could you make a screenshot (F12) and post which profile the team is using (first three rounds of draft is enough to identify the profile). The profiles evaluate the player different.

Ok, then it looks like a bug. When you use the player generated by the game the difference of the ratings is only small but this example shows that here is still a problem.

i wonder if age of the player has any effect on this i changed all the best players to be youngest in the league? also this seems to be league wide... like you said on some teams theres not enough parity to really decide a starter.

also how does the ai decide the starter or how shud it and dose performance have any bearing on who they start next game say #1 guy goes 4 of 17 and a bunch of picks one game will #2 get the start at some point or is this something i shud do manual? anyways thx for the help any info is appreciated l8r

Check your other positions, it looks like it is sorting by the player's uniform #.

Hi.

These positions are not sorted by jersey number. Below is a screen shot of the stock NY team from the game for the WR position.

When you start a league fresh (after a reset for example), players are not assigned a permanent jersey number until after they have survived training camp and the depth charts have been generated. Some cases the jersey numbers will be in a similar order as the depth charts, because the depth chart system put them in an order prior to the jerseys being assigned. Hopefully I've explained that well.

As for the report of the players being 'backwards' in the depth chart. It's something I'm looking at.

hehe sorry guys im really a newb here this has probley been brought up before...

seems to be an issue or actully non issue with rerated players i kept resetting and making new guys over and over trying to get em to sort the depth correct for ai teams after training camp and it never whud view properly.i said what the heck il play a game anyways and soon as the game starts it has all the guys sorted correct problem solved...

kept waiting on it to sort during/right after training camp etc doh just needed to get to playing...

sorry if i wasted anyones time tring to figure this out dont see the problem now seems like it fixes it self upon starting the first game. anyways thx all and great game David thx for fast response!
