This is a SS before a scouting mission of Manassas. Notice the gray ghost figure at the end. This says theres more unspotted leaders or troops there.

This SS shows that the scouting mission has reveiled additional units there. Wade Hampton screened, but the mission was very productive.

Notice all the additional units spotted now. You'll notice other areas with totally unspotted units have only the ghost figure. If the Union attacks Manassas now those spotted units won't have the battle bonus of being unspotted. If the CSA (Confederate States of America) has reserves behind the lines and moves them to Manassas on the reaction phase, they would have the bonus.

Here's another SS I have in my game agianst the AI. The Union took Jacksonville FL in late 61, and in the summer of 62 took Savannah and is poised to attack Augusta GA. McClellan doesn't have initiative to attack this month. I've been short on cavalry leaders , most are out west and it's costing me now, I can't scout Augusta. Notice the large fleet of off Charleston, I hope to do an amphibious invasion there while attacking Augusta at the same time, in order to seperate any reserves the CSA may have in the region.

In the west the CSA postion has turned bad. The AI decided to defend Nashville. The Union overran Decatur and Carr's cavalry closed the trap.
