I for one am VERY glad that Gen H is playing a honorable game -although he's not doing an AAR of it, we are involved in a very, very enjoyable game so far -and already in the first weeks I have found out, he doesn't need any nasty tricks, silly house rules or the like to play a great game.
As always - right at the start -does your opponent play to win, or play for the joy of the tussle?
Like -if trollelite actually wins -nobody is going to send him a trophy are they

Sure i wanna win guys. Don't think i'm not playing for the final victory! But the journey is what matters!
It's like when you play tennis.
Your buddy may call out some balls that were in...but you can have fun all the way and enjoy the match just for what it is:a game.
However thx for your constant support. Really appreciate it. And i don't think i do deserve all those nice words....well...actually i'm getting on looking for compliments with this modesty, right?

Andy, Karachi is port 6 and AF 4....unfortunately
However if it holds long enough si'm planning some nasty surprises that can drive crazy my dear opponent...

Trollelite will be very busy for the rest of the week, so perhaps no updates untill friday.

Going to the disco tonight...a G.F. Mk. XI could be waiting for me hidden somewhere under the shadows on a night-club:-)...or maybe, even better a T.L. Mk. "unknown" (T.L.= temporary lover)!!!...gonna be hard tomorrow waking up and going to the tribunal

Have a nice evening (or morning...or whatever)

I'm very fortunate to have happened upon the opponenentst that I have, that don't try to exploit things.

I have tested quite a few things, simply because I was curious as to how they worked.  Do that enough, and you start to discover issues that can tempt you towards the dark arts...

But I'll admit that Hop is better man than I.  If my initial protest of "hey that's a bit gamey don't you think..." went unheeded (esp with a smart-alleck reply), I'd skip the slow escalation of "debatable" tactics, and immediately turn to the last chapter in the playbook titled "Nasty Tricks and other things to make your opponent go WTF?"

I try to (mostly) use my powers for good, and not for evil tho.

Well I hope you didn't get wrong with the interpretation. If T.L. stands for "Torpedo Loss" you're gonna live in a world of pain if you're on the wrong side of the torpedo...

Anyway you're free to love who you like to, Gen'!

Hope Trollelite gets back in buisness soon....i need some more witp in these days

Well anyway, I wonder who'll take you seriously from now on when it comes to women...
You'll be known as "the one who got house-ruled" all over your place.

- "Hey Cutie can I buy you a drink?"
- "Hey honey, aren't you that billard ball-head "house-rule" guy everyone knows about? M'kay, here are my houserules Tiger: you do the cleaning, the dish job, the windows, the cooking, and I may start thinking about having some torpedo lôôôôôssss time with you if you keep on being a good boy... Got it loud and clear General?"

We know that your generosity is a strength - beware anyone who may interpret it as you weakness!!!

I mean think about life with the women now...
- "Darling! Pleaaaase! I swear I'll be back there!"
- "Hoppy darling, I told you already: No Karachi, No Sex!"

Ho man I wish I could fall in love with a woman who would reward me whenever I play a good game, not on the basis of how much money I may bring back home

Look at PzB for instance - looks like being a uber-samurai player does attract beautiful and bright women. Now that's a lead we have to investigate.

LOL!!

Well, it will be a step forward!...the last G.F. kept on sayin something like " I told you already: sex and witp are a dichotomy"
Be sure that if it was so i'd be asking Feinder to be more detailed about those nasty tricks

However i'm planning some more hunting for tomorrow night (fridays ones are always "hot" nights over here)! Can't be raining forever, right?
Tonight some R&R and some witp

Ok, this thread is becoming a love-blog

You think it would be better to switch side? Hey, no, i wasn't meaning switching side of the torpedo, right?!...meaning back to the samurais' side! It's a matter of fact: JFBs get more and prettier girls!....is it because of their long "Katanas swords"?

ok...i'm going out of the limit-line, am i?

If he wants his Wilkinson blade, then he'd have to turn the remplacements on again. Supply is way too expensive for such a cosmetic use my friend - be a man, stand that damned beard of his!

Ok, got the turn finally.
Now stop talking about stupid things like girls, kisses and sex...let's get into buisness again

Karachi has still 299,000 supplies, even after the last bombing runs. Already 20 units have crossed the river...maybe 2 weeks and he'll start entering in the city perimeter.
In China Changsha has 15,000 supplies with a demand of 22,000...way too low!! Anyway i set up a little ambush...let's see if he stands down his zeros in China for a while...

Manila is down to 18,000...already in pale red!...here the supply consumption is bigger than everywhere else...

2USMC Div unloaded at Eniwatok, which is at 86% towards level 4 AF...within the week we'll start reducing Ponape with hordes of bombers

AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR 04/09/42

The ambush over Changsha worked pretty well. 13 zeros shot down, 6 oscars and few bombers! Lost 6 fighters of the AVG and the 21st fighter group, but the ratio couldn't be better! 26 to 6 in A2A! Great work guys!
Then my bombers from Chungking finally made it through the clouds and pounded badly 2 jap divisions at Changsha!
At the same time my guerrilla ops against his supply lines go on and he's now forced to keep some constant forces on the path that leads from Anking to Changsha!
While these things happen in the south, in the north the yellows are finally made up their comunist minds and are moving towards the jap cities. The idea isn't to conquer anything, just to force him to divert some more troops in the north!

Light bombings today at Karachi...i bet he's keeping some of his bombers on Naval attack...well, my brit CVs are moving from Aden...let's see

Tomorrow Eniwetok will grow at level 4 AF...but i have to wait for some base forces coming from West Coast...so one more week i guess before we can do something interesting here...

Manila is buring...too quickly..supplies are down to 17,000....

Karachi supplies are still at 299,500...not bad

AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR 04/10/42

Hades, sure, you'll find the jap naval losses in the next post...however nothing interesting. couple of CAs and CLs and some SS....really our surface assets are both in well shape.

Today started the bombing of Karachi HI and Resources. He wants to starve the base, no doubt about that. Still 299,300 supplies present however.
His CAs and BBs are resting for few days in India...just when my CVs are on the move...

In China, he's now going more cautious. He started to pound Nanchang which is undefended. I decided to shrink my perimeter and ordered the units at Shangai to get back at Nanchang...at the same time he opened up again his supply path...but he's now forced to keep sensitive forces in his backlines...which is however a small victory.

At Manila supplies are down to 14,000...very bad indeed

100 4Es arrived at Eniwetok today, along with 60 fighters. AF now at level 4. 3/4 days and we'll start the Ponape Bombing operation.

At Manila supplies are down to 14,000...very bad indeed

Check your units on hand supplies, it could be simply that they've drawn a lot of the supplies into themselves. It is actually safer inside the units than at the base if that is where it's gone. Otherwise the rate of decline just seems too fast. You can get a quick list of all the units and their on hand supply simply by left clicking the infantry square icon and sorting the list by supply on hand.

AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR 04/12/42

Storm over Chungking!
He decided to pay a visit to my biggest air base. 50 fighters on escorts and more 250 bombers came over my skies...
I had very few fighters on CAP...but despite that they did a wonderfull job, shooting down droves of zeros and oscars...but the bombers were simply too much...we lost 57 planes on the ground:-( anyway it costed him quite a few good fighters...

He's now moving back from Changsha...probably he wants to clear his flanks first...i expect a river crossing just North of Changsha...it will be risky...very risky...for me...gotta stabilize this damned theatre! Burma road is now closed and he's clearly massing everything he has in China...
