Bought the both collections deal.

Just downloaded and installed OK. Looks great, as it always did ! Only question is since it`s been so long, did Gettysburg not have background music ? none there and no option for it in the menu unlike all other games in the ACW series?

I'd foprgotten that! - if memory serves the music appeared with Antietam - possibly Shiloh, but I'm thinking BGG was originally music free.

That's correct - as far as I know Gettysburg did not have and does not have background music. All the rest do, I believe.

Yes, Talonsoft BG Gettysburg didn't include background music; it was a feature which was added with BG Waterloo and BG Shiloh.

You can always do what I do and take sound files from the other games, as they are .wav files and run it on Media Player or whatever in the background.
