I think it's great news that you're supporting widescreen resolutions for those of us with such monitors (1440x900 available in the 1.2beta, from what I'm reading). I'm certainly interested in this game, and the widescreen support is certainly a nice incentive. It may be superficial, but I like my wargames filling up the screen so as to include as much information as possible. That being said, are there any plans to further support additional resolutions? My monitor's native is 1680x1050; that would be great if it were included in the future.

Is it possible to adjust the resolution? I'm having the same trouble; a tiny windowed screen that doesn't take up half the area of my monitor, and no option to maximize that I can tell.

On the startup screen select the resolution closest in size to your monitor screen setting.  The game will not reset your monitor it will only reset the size of itself.

The 1440 by 900 would work on that screen but I can certainly add other resolutions.

Sorry if I'm being thick, but I don't see any option to select the resolution.  I looked carefully at the opening menu and also the game parameters screen.  Nothing.  What am I missing?

Just to clarify, here's what I am looking at:

Also, I'm curious why the 1918 scenario does not show up. Must this be unlocked somehow? Thanks.

That's the v1.o screen IIRC (it's been a while...)- you need to upgrade to at least 1.1, preferably 1.2beta 10 and avaialble resolutions will be listed next to the sound selection at the bottom.

Oh.  I downloaded the game last night.  I ran the updater utility and it said I had the most recent version. But I'll try installing the update. Thanks.

Okay, that worked.  Thanks for the help.  Just a suggestion that Frank might want to check why the version downloading from the Matrix online store isn't the most recent one.  Enjoying the game so far.

Oooh, adding 1680x1050 would be fantastic for me.

This sounds like a very interesting game. Reading up on reviews/AARs, the WWI setting sounds quite appealing, especially the scarcity of resources and very limited offensive capabilities.

I'd be another that would also appreciate 1680 x 1050 being added as a selectable resolution!

I would second that vote, widescreen monitors are becoming more and more popular.

Cheers

Well as long as we are asking for 1680 x 1050, I would certainly appreciate 2560 x 1600 for this HP LP3065. Thanks, and great game!
