For some one who doesn’t own either (and does not plan on getting the bundle), which would you recommend?

By the way, I like naval sims, but never played harpoon.

Status: offline 		I prefer HCE because I can enjoy a larger scope of battle. H3 is more detailed and you act more as a battle group commander rather than the fleet commander. Just my nickel's worth of free advice!

Status: offline 		I'm with Steve. Prefer the larger scale (whilst still being able to do small scale well) and I've never liked the h3 interface.
