It's more work than fun, but thanks for the appreciation.

Turn 31; the fronts on Central Island are mostly quiet after the heavy fights of the last turns. In exchange the Worker's Autocracy launches a small scale invasion on the pretty flat western island. It's so flat, it was named Flat Island by the Wired Country's High Command. Self declared General Machiavellous T. Westheim was pretty proud of his creation. Well, the invading unit won't do much damage. There are troops there to care for them.

Fights were renewed after the quiet turn 31. I tried to fight free Lovesky, but couldn't break the Deep lines.

The Hindus again try to break through between the I and IV Corps. I still don't have any good defensive troops at those crossroads, and the good old butcher Generalmajor Eisenfels could use his tanks better at the Lovesky front.

Self declared General Machiavellous T. Westheim ordered an offensive on Central Island. The IV Corps pocketed some Hindu Marines, but the I Corps was not really successful. Some mobile troops moved out to the east, but the terrain prohibits them from encircling the Deep Army north of Lovesky. New units are meant to hold the center of the line.

Turn 33; the offensive continues. The IV Corps made up some ground and eliminated the pocket made the previous turn. The I Corps broke out of Lovesky. However, an Hindu counterattack pushed the new infantry divisions away from one of the crossroads between Triad and Lovesky.

Meanwhile, Flat Island is Worker's-free again.

Turn 34; the IV Corps captured a village in the woods and still advances, while I Corps had some limited success, too. The center of the front was regrouped into the V Corps and stuffed with almost all available reserves.

The southwesternmost island was finally captured and I'm slowly preparing for taking the island in the far east, which consumes many ressources.

The I Corps ran out of power to make up more ground. General Eisenfels received order to defend the won territory. Meanwhile the IV Corps (of General Sturm) is supposed to continue attacking, while the V Corps (General Schwarzenberg) has to hold the previously lost and now retaken crossroad. Like self declared General Machiavellous T. Westheim said: "At all costs!"

To be continued.

Turn 35; the right flank of Eisenfels' I Corps was hit hard by the Deep Army.

Turn 36; the I Corps was stuffed with every imaginable war material for an offensive. The right flank has been built up again with tanks, and more artillery has been concentrated in Lovesky.

The entire troops on Central Island have been regrouped into the Central Island HQ (pink), which contains the I, IV, and V Corps.

The research department is pretty confident to develop airplanes soon. An important step towards flying machines of iron has been made just recently: the most famous Wired scientists discovered that if you drop a banana from a tree, it will fall until it hits the ground. That's progress! To celebrate this glorious discovery, self declared General Machiavellous T. Westheim granted all prisoners of war in the labor camps spread throughout the Wired Country's realm two extra minutes of break for lunch, bringing their total daily break up to three minutes.

To be continued.

I am, don't worry. I just had to pull some extra shifts to make up some ground at work.

Turn 37; I finally put up some fighters with the IV Corps.

Turn 38; Eisenfels' I Corps attacked the Deep Army, but didn't cover too much ground. Meanwhile I'm worried again because of the thin-thin-thin connection between the IV and V Corps.

The proud and powerful Wired navy under command of the III Corps sunk three Workers' Autocracy's cargoships this turn.

Turn 39; the I Corps continued its offensive and managed to make a major breakthrough through the Deep lines! Four divisions separated the Deep troops in the area of the Lovesky Mountains, and all Deep units west of Lovesky are immediately threatened to become isolated, now that they lost they're only supply route.

Self declared General Machiavellous T. Westheim was very pleased with the outcome of the battle and appointed General Eisenfels to command of all troops on Central Island.

Turn 40; somehow the Deep Army managed to break through the I Corps' right wing. Self declared General Machiavellous T. Westheim was so pleased, he just fainted and slept for 48 hours straight ...

... and by then, General Brandenburg of the I Corps had restored order at the west side of the river.

Take that, Deep creeps!

Turn 41; talking about momentum! The I Corps crossed the river and broke through the Deep lines. The Deep Army doesn't seem to be in very good shape now, and I could make up some ground now.

Furthermore, the V Corps came near of the Hindu capitol. The Hindus have been fairly quiet in the last rounds, after they took some serious hits. I'm undecided in which direction to push more. Uh, wait, self declared General Machiavellous T. Westheim has an idea. "Push in both."

To be continued.

Sorry, guys, work is eating me up right now. I haven't played AT the whole week.

Turn 42; Losing momentum on all fronts. I'm also getting thin flanks again and am threatened to have my tanks cut off.

Turn 43; and it almost happened. I Corps has to retreat again in the far east to avoid being mangled between the Deep army divisions that keep pushing from north and south.

Turn 44; Overview over Central Island as a whole. IV Corps started to push in the far west in order to capture the Hindu Marines' only harbour. In exchange, the V Corps was beaten back again and had two of its divisions pocketed. Self declared General Machiavellous T. Westheim was not so amused.

On the start island, I created the VI Corps, which will have to capture the island in the far southeast, which is still unoccupied. Will there be another clash with the Deep Army?

Reorganizing - I split the I Corps, which was about to make up more than half of the total front on Central Island. The western half will remain the I Corps, the divisions east of the river now form the VII Corps. Just to remember: Corps I, IV, V, and VII fight on Central Island, II Corps is on start island, III Corps on the western island between my start island and the Worker's Autocracy, and the VI Corps is about to conquer the south eastern island, which was appropriately officially named to Southeastern Island.

Turn 45; pocketing! The IV and V Corps close in on the Hindu capitol, pocketing a decent number of Hindu Marines south of the city. The next step would be to completely surround the capitol and then - throw in bombs until nothing's alive anymore. Self declared General Machiavellous T. Westheim says: "Sounds like fun."

To be continued (sometimes)
