ORIGINAL: yoggi75 Agree with JAMiAM to start at peace. For me the "diplomacy" part is what thrills me most so I hope you guys don't want to ensue restrictions in setting up pacts or other deals (or breaking them for that matter). I agree with yoggi75 on having no restrictions with respect to diplomacy. Other than the two round breather option at the game's start, that is. quote:
ORIGINAL: yoggi75 How do we decide on what faction we all play? There are obviously some nations that are harder than others. Indeed, they are. I am open to suggestions. We could have a totally random drawing. Maybe by a trusted, uninvolved source drawing names out of a hat. Like Vic... Or, we could try some picking and choosing and seeing if there is any consensus? Or, taking a rough estimation of our various skill levels and trying to assign the tougher countries to the more experienced players? Anyone else have preferences, or other ideas? quote:
ORIGINAL: yoggi75 Any restrictions on reading possible AAR's from other factions? This would be tough to enforce, since someone who wanted to peek, could do so without any trace. I'm of the mind that where AAR's exist, it is up to the players to not show too much information on their respective AAR's unless they are comfortable with revealing it. Or, perhaps, using the knowledge that what they show is perhaps somehow to their advantage... quote:
ORIGINAL: yoggi75 I haven't played around with this scenario - is it possible to transfer PP's to another faction - If so, it could provide for some interesting deals Yes, by action card play. The screenshot below shows what options I feel the game should be started with. Agreement? Disagreement?
