You guys actually play with 5 downs using maximum football? If so, How?

I went inside the database and edited the number of downs from in there. It seems the way the game is set up it deals with downs left to determine kicking so it works fine.

How bout profiles

there is no option for a 5th down

Do you just play without the profiles

We use the default playbook for 12 man football.I think the way the profiles work is not the Down your on but how many are left.Since you have the option of 3 or 4 downs.I could be wrong on that maybe Dave could clarify.

Not sure what you mean by what happened to the league. As far as the number of teams. The Victoria Team is on a leave of absence. So thats why were down to 3 teams. The main purpose of the league was to play while the MLF and VCFL were waiting for the game to come out.Once the game came out we lost owners to the MLF.
I think our rules may make us not a very popular league for new owners to join. Were leaning more to Rugby with 20 minutes Quarters 4 point Touchdowns , 2 point field goals 12 man football on an NCAA field with 5 downs and 34 man roster.
Plus being in the MLF you know that until I get my new computer were using a older version of the game to sim the games.

Trevor, which build are you using for the league?

It looks like there is an issue listing penalties correctly.

Thanks for spotting that problem. The problem is the rules were set to rule set 3.The penalties are set in the Main Data I added a rule set 3.Since we use 5 downs I made the offensive penalties set to loss of down I changed the maindata file I forgot about the penalty changes so when it was looking for rule set three it couldn`t find it thats why no yards in penalties.

I see the RCSL web page has been updated. It looks like the rosters are ready for the next season.I know your waiting on a new computer to start up the VCFL are you doing the same with the RCSL or are you going to do a season on the old version while you wait for the VCFL season to start up.If Ohio is open and your going to do a season I wouldn`t mind being in the league until the VCFL starts up.

Well RCSL is like a house league 4 friends just having fun .The game has so many options to play with so we just do it.3 of our owners live close together so we do play h2h at each others house. Not sure if you could sell it any other way you would really need to be established to do it.

Well a new era begins for RCSL me Brodie Pilous will be running the leagu for season 26.This effectively ends the CFC with the two CFC teams coming over to RCSL.We are staying with the same rules as last year to remain the most unigue league on the net.See the MBFL play under these rules lol

I have to admit myself I thought it was a little strange the concept but talking with VCFL Commish I relized what a cool concept it is.It has a little of everything in it American,Canadian and even Rugby what other game are you going to be able to that with.
With summer in full boom I think the best thing for RCSL is to start up in September maybe around the 14th .Alot of our owners are in the VCFL so need trying to launch a season the same time as them.Plus to be honest alot of guys are at the cottage. So September watch out for the most unique league on the net.

well such a wierd mix of rules isnt for me either
but I have to agree with you Brodie, no other game will allow you to do that
so if your happy with it.........run with it brother, thats what its all about, enjoying what your doing and having some fun.
