Do aircraft loss tolerance settings have any impact on indirect aircraft operations?

That is, for the 'behind the scenes' air superiorty battles, and air transport bouncing, do they have any effect?

Thanks.

Dunno about air transport operations, but the loss setting definitely seems to affect behavior in air superiority operations.

In my scenario, if I set the German fighters on 'ignore losses' on turn one, they're likely to knock themselves all into reorg. Changing the setting to 'limit losses' seems to cause them to know when they've had enough for that turn without getting slapped into reorg.
