If I remember correctly according to EiA board game, ship numbers per fleet are unknown but total number of ships for a nation is public knowledge.

Is this represented somehow in the computer game?

Historically it is pretty difficult to hide fleet construction.

No, fleet strength is always visible to everyone, both in the boardgame and PC game.

So is fleet construction which must be done in a port and which you can set a toggle to let you know when people build fleets.

OK.

UI improvement:
+ Enemy report showing the different fleet forces.
+ Make it possible to browse through a fleet stack (sometimes it works sometimes it does not)

You find them in the little unit window, you just must make sure that the right view mode is enabled (like ships in port for ships in port etc) also make sure that the window isnt scrolled out to the right (it seems like it keeps its position even if you change view mode or area and if you have been looking at say that big British fleet stack it sometimes is scrolled past the units in the area).

I knew about that. But, I thought Murat might have been referring to "ships being built" numbers. I haven't been able to find that info except in my own territory or controlled free state territory.
