Hey all,

Not sure if this is a bug or what type of issue this is, but it has happened twice now. I am pre-1.01 patch.

I'm playing Russia at war with Prussia. I had taken all of his regional capitals and was sieging Berlin. In both accounts I killed him down to say 6-10 guys left when I reached the eco phase. In both cases, he only had one or two corps left (and they had been beat up, not full).

Ok, so when the eco phase happens, my besiegers moved from on the city to just in the space. (I saw them move.) At the end of the eco phase, there is a stack of 6 or so Prussian corps adjacent to Berlin. When I attack them, they are full strength militia. So, say 140+ factors... What's up with that?

Other factors, both times they were created in an unoccupied city. The first time was Colberg (? - N of Berlin) and the second time was Kustrin.

In the board game, they could save MP. I assume that's not the case here.

Secondarily, why were my besiegers made to "unbesiege" during the eco phase. I don't think that I was attacked in Berlin, which seems to also make your besiegers unbesieged, by I may have been.

*-*-*-*-*-*

The other issue was in the turn before I got to the above situation. I had 17 corps in and surrounding Prussian territory. Spain was also at war (and with Austria, France, and GB) and moved one corps from Austria into Glougau, Prussia. Prussia with 8 corps in Berlin surrendered uncoditionally to Spain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, needless to say I was perplexed.

I know that the AI needs to be adjusted (and I'd like to help), but some issues need to be addressed. This is one.

Thanks,
Jason

Prussia can indeed save MP in EiANW and thats indeed what you see the result of when Prussia drops 6 full corps of militia on the board, can be scary.
