OK my suggestion is to give some love to the commishes out there. I know this is all ancilliary stuff but how about some nice neat and tidy html output for things such as

Rosters - All nicely linked into a premade control panel naturally
Leaders - Not all the stats for every player, legit leaders page
Results - The text files are fine but nothing lines up and it'd be fantastic to have them in a nice format
Standings - If I'm not mistaken no standings output - a neat standings page would help
Team Stats - A team stats page would be nice

Some of the things above I was able to write some DB stuff to make it work, however there's an awful lot in the stats portion of the DB that does not lend itself to easily creating stat pages. The statistical column itself was pretty rough to deal with, eventually I scrapped that and went to a scenario where I paste from the html outputted to excel and then into access which works alright but is a clunky process. If this stuff outputted nice and neat it'd save me probably an hour or so each time I update, that's substantial.

I know this is pretty cosmetic though, so if it happens, woo hoo, if not, hey the game play is the thing, this is stuff for the few that want to go to another level.

I think JD is looking at doing some of this stuff after the new stats format is available to him.

I can't talk for him though.  It is not a simple task.

This is the understatement of the year!

Anyway, I DO plan on doing this when the new patch comes out. However, I cannot promise that it will be the FIRST thing that I will get accomplished with the new patch. Just like David, and Marauders, and the like, it's just me working on this editor. The good news is that summer is just around the corner (I know, I know... it's still 4 months away, but for a teacher, that's soon!). So, withe the extra free itme comes extra programming time!

yay.

JD
