Hallo IronPig
This is only a demoversion, the full addon JTCS meets PG3D "WWII" and JTCS meets PG3D "Cold War" my property remains, in order to publish it possibly
nevertheless still in a larger player municipality. I hope there still another little for matrix games and John Tiller personally.
I publish however nevertheless further the finished scenarios. These must be adapted only on JTCS, since I use-have before the engine of Divided Ground.
You can state however desires for first working on here. You can also cooperate as mapmaker!!! This custom I urgently!!!

The original PG3D-sound is to small for this big projekt !!!
I will offer the original Panzergeneral-II-(PG3D)-weapon/exlosion sound however later for download.

Hallo Wittmann

Oh! OK I understand what you mean

You have told me in a few posts before more finished scen. I think they are finished but not adapted to JTCS yet right?

When do you think is the first part (finish and adapt all scen to JTCS) complete?
After that I think you will start the new scen or?

The demo is really nice!!! Very good work balck! can´t wait to see the new scen in the future

Hallo Wittmann
Schade, hätte wirklich noch Hilfe gebraucht. Na dann viel Glück in Afghanistan !

Hallo Iron Pig
Thanks for your positiv critics, complet is this addon never never- work again in my full live.
Every month I give a new scenarion online for free download, next is normandy.
I will work on barbarossa-map again !!!

Hallo Dali

Hi Balck,

after the installation of your setup files I get in both games (Cold war, WW2) by starting a szenario the error code 486

I have installed JTCS without any patches and no other mods. Changing the resolution and the bit deep can´t fix this error.

do you know how can i fix it?

You should use JSGME mod swapping program to play ANY mods, so you don't corrupt original installs. 486 errors are registry errors dealing with passwords and such. If you don't use the JSGME program, you should copy/paste the whole existing WF game into a new folder, then install the mod over to that. you are most likely better off right now to uninstall everything, and start over. Copy/paste a WF (patched) game into another folder called Cold War or whatever, then make sure to play from the exe directly from the directory, or a shortcut to that one, not from some selection screen.

Hope this helps.

Mike

Hi Ironpig,

JSGME is a very simple program that you can use to install/uninstall mods with just a click!! The file is too large to post here, click on Warhorse in this post above Matrix Legion of Merit on left side above avatar, and click on email Warhorse, I will send it to you!

What I recommend is to uninstall JTCS, reboot the computer, then reinstall it, upgrade to both 1.02, and 1.02b. Then, just to make sure, double-click on the West Front.exe in WF to make sure that this copy works. If it does work, then unzip the JSGME into this folder, find JSGME.exe, double-click on it, then exit the program. Now you will see in the WF directory a MODS folder, with BACKUPS folder inside that. NOW, install H.Balcks demo into the MODS folder, you should see a new Cold War folder. Find JSGME again, double-click on it, and in the left side you will see Cold War, click on it and choose install. It will take a few minutes/seconds, then it appears in the right side under installed mods. Exit the program, and find in WF the WF.exe files as Dumnorix instructed, double-click it to play!!

When you want to play regular WF, open JSGME, and in the right side click on Cold War and chooes uninstall, when it disappears, close the JSGME and play your regular game!! Let me know how this works out, ok?

Mike

IronPig,

i´m playing a PG3D meets JTCS modern test scenario against H. Balck. It works! Mike gives you a very good overview to install the files. If nothing help you should install JTCS new, it´s the best way.

Good luck.

Hi,

now I have fixed the error
First:
I have make a copy of the WF folder (out of the JTCS folder)and installed the addon in this new folder. The I get the error by starting a szenario

Now:
You MUST have the new folder in the JTCS folder then you can play without a error

But I have a new "bug"? Some of my infantry units have the skin of tiger and panthertanks who can help me?

You´re right. I found the NVA Fallschirmjäger with a bmp file of a WW II tank. But it´s not your mistake. I think H. Balck will solve the problem. If you found more you should tell him this.

I think a Fan is too much but I like the cold war scenario.

I´m searching a long time for a good game with this scenario but only a few peaople like hex strategy I think

And the problem of the fan projects is that they are very buggy like the WW3 Addon for the talonsoft WF (1999 I think)

why do you ask?

Take a look to theBlitz.org and the Feldzugschmiede.com, there are (enough!?) other people with the same attention for Hex Strategy Wargames. The WW3 Add was indeed a first try, not more. I played it for 20 minutes ... that´s it.
