My Corsairs lose a game in OT. Too bad, but it looks like it was a great game.

Well, we dont want to go all Patriots or anything. Lose one now, kill all the perfect season pressure later on

Hey, I know Seaside probably won't make it to the playoffs, but 4-4 so far is WAY better than 'Vader Nation tought they'd be.

GO 'VADERS!

Finally decided to make an account and post...Found the site and basically only visit to follow the MFL. Found the MFL site before Season 2 started, was drawn to the St. Cruze Makos, followed through a disasterous 2-8 season but season 3 has brought change and now with our HUGE week 10 tilt at Newport Bay I figured it was time to post a message supportin the boys. This post is either gonna turn out to be the biggest curse in franchise history of I'm gonna be the sole reason to put them over the top on their way to a MFL title...

Peppercorn and DuPre on offense, Jiles dominating on defense...what a team, Kennedy has done great leading the team but I'm still hoping for a new QB down the line and a showtime Corner hopefully first round next year...

I've wanted to buy this game for a while to make my own league (I used to have an awesome league, made all the players and teams using FBPro98 wayyy back, ha)...but I've just liked following this one and plus while I can come up with a great league setup, teams, team names and definately players and player names I have no skills whatsoever in creating uniforms and logos (I promised my fantasy football league members logo's and uni's for our league site years ago and I still haven't got it done, even bought a $30 graphics program and I still suck)...but ya, probably will get to buying the game and hopefully figure out how to create uniforms and logo's which I'll want to do first before buying it...

just wanted to show support for the Makos and give a vote of confidence to Coach Stanley on the job done this season. Now if I could just figure out how to put the picture you all have of "your" teams in my sig I'de be set, or even better get Peppercorn running the ball in our away uni's, DuPre making a catch in the home uni's and Jiles sackin QB's and combine the 3 into a sig pic. That'd be awesome...

Anyways, great league, hope it continues, well as long as it can, you do a great job with the site, I visit the site more than these forums, usually come here to see when an update will happen. Wish there was like a league wide reporter for news, league news, commish state of the league address, future expansion plans, etc...but its great how it is, hoping one day for a Friday Night or Monday Night game of the week to be streamed on the site but these are my ideas, hah, and you are doing great how it is...and maybe some trades and letting us follow the draft prospects and draft but I kinda like how the players stay on the teams, for some reason I just don't like the name Kennedy at QB even though he's leading my team to what looks like our first playoff appearance if we pull off this next game. Biggest game in franchise history!!!

Go Makos!!

You can download the picture from the team page. Just right click and then 'save picture as' to your desktop. You can add it to your sig through your profile link. But, I'm not shure what code the guys use to do this. Perhaps someone else can post here with instructions.

Except, instead of using the curly bracekts { }, use square brackets instead. [ ]

Hope this helps!

I agree Reaser that making the uniforms and logos is a daunting task.  I've been dreaming up my own league for the past year or so and have, with much trial, effort and cursing, learned to use the Gimp to create my logos.  Like you, I want to have them done before I begin the league and it's taking a while.  But I finally have about half of them done and am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

I also enjoy following the Metro Football League.  DreamTeams has provided me with a lot of inspiration and ideas.

I have finally bought the game and am looking forward to running my league through it.  I really can't wait!

How did the Dragons get such a poor defense?

Did you let JD set the depth chart to bad and worse?

It must be sabotage!!!

Hmm. Good question. I looked back at the Dragons team news and it shows that they lost 3 Linebackers (Shrader, Smit, Surgener) and 2 DBs (Castor, Kegley) to retirement after last season. All retired after only two seasons. This could have something to do with the teams poor defensive performance this season. That's the way it goes for now, but I remember reading that the rash of retirements, after only two seasons, has been fixed in the next update of MF.

Week Eleven results have been posted. That's the end of the regular season.

It's playoff time!

It came down to points in the West.

Who's in? Who's out?

hey i was lookin back at the past seasons and wondering if you got most of your stadiums from the unsorted files in fb max

I got a question if you know or not, is it possible to create your own stadium?

I downloaded the stadiums I use back when Fb max had an extensive stadium section. That area of fb max has not been updated to have these stadiums again.

Here are the five stadium models I use...

Merenge Stadium, Merenge Double Deck, Sports Field, So Cal Stadium and So Cal Open Dome; all designed by local8h.

I use these as a base and I've modified and customized each to match the home field atmosphere of the team that plays there.

I'm not sure if stadiums can be created from scratch. But, I recall a few guys on here saying that they had done so. Have no idea how they did it.

Well, then it must be a California Coast league - where much of anything worth playing for is fake.

These cities are located in a fictional country called the Metropolitan Republic. Actually, one day I hope to post a fictional map, on my site, of the country and where these cities are located.

Ok. It's done. When at site, just click on the 'MFL Geography' link to view a fictional map that includes all the MFL cities. You can also visit each team's locker room through the map as well.

Enjoy.

Since you have a team named Metropolis, and Metropolis is a song by my favorite band, Dream Theater; I guess I now have a rooting stake in this league.  Having blue and white as colors just seals the deal...Go Monarchs!
