Campaign Fix "Preparing the Way" To update your SPWAW campaign, "Preparing the Way," please download the zip file now in the Game Depot

and put these three files into your Campaigns subdirectory of SPWAW version 4.0. The OOBs (Orders of Battle) were being worked on up until the last minute and some changes were made that caused the AMD-50 French Armored Cars to appear as destroyed. That was because the slot for those armored cars was changed at the last minute. So to avoid that if you have not yet played the campaign, or to update your files if you ahve, download this zip and simply put these into the campaigns subdirectory. That will resolve the problem. My thanks to those who caught this and called it to my attention. Bombs away !!!! er... I mean i just sent promised saves for the unfixed campaign. So if they don't arrive in, lets say 24 hours, please let me know

WB looked all over wear is this game depot i could not find it or the pacth forgive me for being so stupid

great campiagn although a 1000 oddpionts seams like nothing when facing the latter half off the first battle great job.i clicked on the downloads button this is not the game depot is it? gee i feel realy dump asking you this as i'm not a newbie but have been playing this evr since its birth

Go to the game depot for SPWAW. http://www.matrixgames.com/gamedepot.asp When you get there, click on I agree Then click on SPWAW picture Then click on "find it" A list will appear of all scenarios in the depot. The one you want is titled campaign Fix. No problem, Ivan. Sometimes these menus can be a little confusing. [This message has been edited by Wild Bill (edited September 21, 2000).]

A note on the upgrade to the campaign. For some reason the first zip had six files. Beats me! Anyway, you only want those files dated the 20th of September. Discard the others. The ones dated the 20th should overwrite the earlier ones anyway. That is now fixed so that only the three necessary files are in the zip. If you have already downloaded the zip, it still should not be a problem for you. The three files are scenario files (cmt, dat) and the overall campaign file, also a dat.
