Thanks for comments on this scenario in first thread, below. I've uploaded a revised version incorporating the following:

Deployment around Bryansk pocket revised.
Naval units deployed and map edited to include ports.
Reinforcements revised.
Panzer regiments revised. Some chrome added to PZ divisions.
Initial supply units correctly set to “do not reconstitute”, like reinforcing supply.
“Fixed” Axis HQ units “unfixed”.
Soviet SW front redesigned to correctly reflect its beaten-up nature as scenario begins.

Depending on events over the next few weeks I may be out for town for some time and unable to return to this scenario for awhile. But I'll keep an eye out for more issues. Best bt

Great!

Just hope that including ports will not add another lay of canworm
for droping unist behind enemy lines but that will be also fun we will see.

I would like just to point for future revision I think that there is many typos in units names like stug battalions etc... it should be wtitten correctly and many other names to be according to military names - Hun. Pio. maybe different etc...

Thank you mario - if you have specifics in mind I'd be grateful for them.

PO: very tricky for a scenario covering june 1942 to may 1943 because it requires, in the case of the Soviet an effective defense that can detect where the Axis is going, fight an appropriate defense there, and then pick the right moment to go on offense. Also, the soviets avoided battle with main german formations and focused on cracking the hungarians, italians and rumanians -- how does the PO have the wit to do that when it doesnt know where those formations are?

A PO german needs to know if and when the offense has failed, and then conduct a fighting defense.

It WOULD be possible to program a sensible PO in penny packets -- say for Blau phases I to III; for a battle in the Caucasus; for a Stalingrad-to-Kharkov run (I've already done that last one on this scale and it's on the disk I believe); for an historical-alternative on-to-Moscow scenario. Each in the 10-25 turn range or so. Might look at that sometime - feel free to try it yourself if you like.

Like Napoleon would say maybe I am seeing double, I cannot find that sturm typo but I have found one - 683 socherungs (sicherung)...
all is in german so it is hard to put everything right.
