Axis Spring 41 (Post 1 of 2)

European Theatre - Allied ASW rating goes to 2; the U-boats are called back to France. A heavy concentration of CW fighters forces the Germans to rebase the Luftwaffe to Germany proper. Surface raiders hit the convoy pipeline off of England.

Pacific Theatre - Tojo's dice have cooled considerably; it takes 4 attacks to get the final two hits on the Chinese rail network. Turn sent to GKar.

Allies Spring '41

Count of Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe are going up, both Great Britain and the Soviet Union try to prepare for the worst.

Notes:
- Italy is still neutral despite wanting to join twice (?)
- Why are Gibraltar and Scotland revealed in this "neutral" screenshot? (no ships nearby)

Axis Summer 41 (Post 2 of 2)

Pacific Theatre - Japan presents a simultaneous threat to the Soviet Far East. To cover this move Tojo sends a large army group into central China; bombing raids manage three hits on Chinese factories.

Turn sent to GKar.

While the WAllies look for an enemy to strike, the Soviets don't feel that safe anymore...

Axis Fall 41 - (Post 1 of 2)

European Theatre

Initial reports from Barbarossa tell of great German success; 1 German infantry damaged ... total Soviet losses (including Japanese attacks) for the turn as shown. About half of the remaining Red Army is caught in a vast pocket in Eastern Poland.

Allies Fall '41

Stalin is furious when he learns that the regional commander of Eastern Poland was too drunk to prepare a stock of military supplies. Meanwhile the whole Red Army is stunned to see that the Wehrmacht lost nothing but a damaged infantry division in the whole first series of attacks.

The WAllies start a limited carrier attack around Denmark with questionable success. Some pilots still have to be tought (a) not to get shot down and (b) to target transport ships last, I repeat: last.

Axis Winter 42 - (post 1 of 2)

European Theatre - 3 airstrikes on Leningrad fail to take out the last rail link; the ensuing battle requires most of the German armor and costs the Wehrmacht heavily. The Soviet fleets in the Baltic & Black Seas are hunted down and destroyed. Army Group South advances to seize Kharkov.
