I have a general question on Japanese Pilot training and pools. Does it make sense to create small reserve pools within front-line units, or will these extras be taken out by a bug I have read about a couple times on the forum (having to do with 10K pilot limit)? What I mean is: You can manipulate air units to put, say, 33 pilots into a 27-plane Daitai, thereby freeing up more units to train, and having a "ready reserve" at the front so that units can sustain some combat yet remain at full-strength. Being aggressive about this, you can put many more pilots in training, and effectively build a large on-map pilot reserve. Doing this systematically, you will effectively increase the flow of trained pilots. Not sure I'm going to do this, as I think it's a bit gamey, and would take tons of time to divide, move, disband fragments, etc. But is this a tactic others have used?
